Melanie Zanetti voices Chilli, and Dave McCormack—credited as David McCormack in a later film announcement—voices Bandit. The official sources cited here do not identify the child performers behind Bluey and Bingo, so their names should not be treated as confirmed. Here’s what is publicly established about the pups’ voices and the adults who play their family and friends.
Who voices Bandit and Chilli?
| Character | Voice performer | What the official credits say |
|---|---|---|
| Chilli, or Mum | Melanie Zanetti | ABC identified Zanetti as Chilli’s voice in its 2021 Series 3 announcement. BBC Studios later named her as returning as Mum (Chilli) for the planned feature film. ABC; BBC Studios |
| Bandit, or Dad | Dave McCormack; also credited as David McCormack | ABC used “Dave McCormack” for Bandit, while BBC Studios used “David McCormack” for the same role in its film announcement. These are name forms for the same performer, not two different actors. ABC; BBC Studios |
Who voices Bluey and Bingo?
The official sources cited here do not name the child performers behind Bluey and Bingo. That means their identities cannot be confirmed from those sources; names circulated by fan sites or social media should not be repeated as verified credits.
Bluey is a Blue Heeler puppy, and Bingo is her little sister. Disney’s media kit describes the family but does not identify the child voices. Disney media kit
Which guest actors have been named?
Series 3 guest performers
ABC’s October 2021 Series 3 announcement listed Myf Warhurst, Megan Washington, Leigh Sales, Sam Simmons, Sean Choolburra and singer-songwriter Darren Hanlon among the performers lending their voices to characters. The announcement does not match those six names to specific characters, so individual role assignments cannot be confirmed from that page. It is a historical guest list, not a complete or current cast directory. ABC Series 3 announcement

Why does the show keep its Australian accents?
The Australian accents are a deliberate part of the show’s sound. In an April 2019 ABC News report, executive producer and Ludo Studio director Daley Pearson said producers had declined requests to change them for overseas markets: “We sort of put our foot down and said, we want to keep our Australian accents in there.” ABC News, April 9, 2019
In the same report, Zanetti described her early response to the project: “I had no idea it was going to blow up the way it has,” she said. She also said, “But I did know it was something really special when I first read and the pilot. It was like nothing I’d ever seen before.” Those comments were reported in 2019, not made as a current interview.
