The jury voted 7–0 for Baham over Makensy Manbeck in the finale, which aired October 13, 2024. In interviews the next day, Baham explained that she had feared several jurors might favor Manbeck and had even imagined a 4–3 result for her opponent.
Why Chelsie Baham expected a closer vote
“Yeah, I was not at all expecting a unanimous vote,” Baham told Parade TV Editor Mike Bloom in an interview published October 14, 2024. She said she was especially unsure how Angela, Leah and Quinn would vote: she believed they were close to Manbeck or might give weight to competition wins. Baham said she had pictured a result as close as “four to three Makensy.” Parade’s interview records Baham’s expectation, not the jurors’ private reasoning.
In a separate interview, Baham described how the vote surprised her as it was read. She was bracing for the first jury vote to go to Manbeck, then thought the second might as well, before seeing her own name again. As Entertainment Weekly’s interview republished by Yahoo Entertainment reported, Baham said she thought the jury’s choice would be “a much tougher decision.”
What the 7–0 result meant in context
The actual verdict was unanimous: all seven jurors voted for Baham, according to the Entertainment Weekly interview. That result contrasted with her expectation of a split vote, but the interviews do not establish a full account of each juror’s reasoning.

- Big Brother the Game - Get Ready for the Real Confrontation
The same interview reported that Manbeck had won the final Head of Household competition and ten competitions overall, while Baham tied the show record with four Head of Household wins. It also reported that Baham received the $750,000 prize. Those figures describe the finalists’ competition records and the reported prize; they do not, by themselves, explain how the jury reached its decision.
Why Baham said she would have taken Manbeck to the final two
Baham told Parade that she and Manbeck had formed a deep friendship and shared a desire to see two women reach the final two. She recalled a brief moment of doubt—“I was like, ‘Oh, is she about to flip on me?!’”—but said she ultimately believed Manbeck would take her. Baham also said she would have chosen Manbeck herself if she had won the final Head of Household competition.

TV Insider’s interview likewise reported that Baham said she would have taken Manbeck, even though taking Cam Sullivan-Brown might have seemed like an easier route to a win. Her account frames the final-two choice as a personal decision as well as a strategic one.
How Baham explained her winning game
Baham credited her relationships with jurors and her final speech with helping her earn votes. She also said she worked hard to influence Manbeck’s decision to evict Leah Peters. These are Baham’s own descriptions of her approach after the season; they should not be mistaken for a neutral, complete reconstruction of every conversation or juror’s motive.
