Jessica Lange is confirmed for American Horror Story Season 13; Ariana Grande is not confirmed in the current official cast materials. FX lists Lange among the returning cast, while neither FX’s cast page nor Disney’s August 2026 announcement names Grande. An earlier TVLine report said Grande would join the season, so the difference is between an entertainment-news report and the later official listings—not proof that she could not appear in an unannounced guest role.
Is Ariana Grande in American Horror Story Season 13?
Not according to the official cast sources currently available. FX’s Season 13 cast page and Disney’s August 2026 cast announcement do not list Grande. TVLine reported on 9 July 2026 that she would join the cast, but that earlier report has not been reflected in those official listings.

The distinction matters: an omission from a displayed cast list does not rule out an unannounced guest appearance. The accurate status is that Grande’s participation has not been confirmed by the official FX or Disney materials cited here.

Yes. FX names Lange in its Season 13 cast listing and identifies four returning characters: Constance Langdon, Sister Jude, Fiona Goode and Elsa Mars. The official FX cast page is the source for those role spellings.

FX’s cast page assigns several performers multiple returning roles. Disney’s broader announcement names additional members of the ensemble. The announced returning characters include Constance Langdon, Cordelia Goode, Madison Montgomery, Marie Laveau, Rubber Man, Twisty the Clown and Kai Anderson, among others.

What is Season 13 about, and which earlier seasons connect?
Ryan Murphy described the season to TheWrap as “a cross between ‘Murder House,’ ‘Coven’ and ‘Hotel.’ It has all of those tones.” That points viewers toward those earlier installments for the season’s returning characters and atmosphere; Hulu’s Season 13 guide also suggests revisiting Murder House, Coven, Hotel and Cult.
In the same TheWrap interview, director Crystle Roberson Dorsey said, “We made sure that we paid attention to those things to let the fans know we’re listening,” referring to details the team considered from fan response. Gabourey Sidibe said Queenie is “much more interested in the voodoo side of her dollness, if that makes sense.”

When does Season 13 premiere, and where can you watch it?
Release dates and services differ by territory. Hulu’s U.S. guide says the season premiered on 24 September 2026 with a three-episode event; new episodes air on FX and stream simultaneously on Hulu, including Hulu on Disney+ for bundle subscribers. Disney+ UK announced a 25 September 2026 premiere exclusively on Disney+ in the UK.
Disney+ UK describes the season as 13 half-hour episodes. Its announced UK schedule begins with three episodes in premiere week and three in week two, then releases two episodes each Friday through the finale on 30 October 2026. Check local service listings for availability in other countries.
