Agatha All Along has no post-credits scene. Showrunner and executive producer Jac Schaeffer said Marvel decided not to include one. She had written several possible end-credit tags, but the reason Marvel passed was not disclosed.
Does Agatha All Along have a post-credits scene?
No. The two-part finale, released October 30, 2024, has no post-credits scene. In this context, a “tag” means a short scene after the main story or credits that hints at what may come next.
Why was there no post-credits scene?
Schaeffer said Marvel made the decision. In interview coverage by TVLine, she put it plainly: “That’s a Marvel decision. I know nothing more than that.” She also said she had devised several possible tags, but was told the series would not have one. “That doesn’t affect my work, or my vision for the show.”
Her comments establish who made the call, not Marvel’s reasoning. They do not confirm that any specific proposed Agatha All Along tag was filmed, nor do they identify a planned setup that Marvel chose to remove. Any claim about the decision being intended to tease another MCU project or avoid a particular character reveal goes beyond what Schaeffer disclosed.

What did Schaeffer say about writing tags?
In GamesRadar+’s coverage of the Variety interview, Schaeffer described tags as enjoyable because they can promise a future story without requiring the writer to deliver it immediately: “They’re so fun to write, because you’re writing the promise without having to deliver on anything.” That explains her view of the format, but not Marvel’s reason for leaving one out of this series.
Was the Doctor Strange idea an Agatha scene?
No. TVLine also reported Schaeffer’s account of an unused WandaVision idea involving Wanda and Doctor Strange. It was an idea for that earlier series, not a deleted or omitted Agatha All Along post-credits scene.
