Christopher Guerrero voices Ainz Ooal Gown and Sarah Wiedenheft voices Neia in the English dub of Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom. A CBR interview published July 11, 2024, was described as a spoiler-free conversation about their characters, the story, acting process and possible future developments. The accessible interview record does not include their detailed answers, so the headline phrase “He’s Failing Upwards” should be read as editorial framing—not a verified quote from either actor.
Who voices Ainz and Neia in the English dub?
Christopher Guerrero is the English dub voice of Momonga, also known as Ainz Ooal Gown. Sarah Wiedenheft is the English dub voice of Neia. Those are the two performers identified in the syndicated record of CBR’s interview. IMDb’s record of the CBR interview dates it July 11, 2024.

What did the actors say about the film?
The available interview summary says the spoiler-free discussion covered the actors’ characters, the story, their acting process and possible future developments. It does not provide the interview answers themselves. That means specific interpretations, anecdotes or predictions cannot be reliably attributed to Guerrero or Wiedenheft from the accessible record.
Likewise, “He’s Failing Upwards” is wording in the headline, not a quotation established by the record. It may capture a playful angle on Ainz, but should not be presented as something Guerrero—or Wiedenheft—said.

What is Overlord: The Sacred Kingdom about?
The film adapts material from Kugane Maruyama’s Overlord light novels. Naoyuki Ito directed and scripted it, and MADHOUSE produced the animation. In the story, Jaldabaoth and a demi-human army threaten the Sacred Kingdom; the neighboring Slane Theocracy appeals to the Sorcerer Kingdom, led by Ainz Ooal Gown. Crunchyroll’s film listing provides the synopsis and title information.
Where can you watch the film in English?
Crunchyroll announced the movie’s streaming availability on April 25, 2025. Its title listing includes English and Japanese audio and gives a runtime of 2 hours 14 minutes. Streaming catalogs and language options can vary by territory, so check the listing from your location before watching.
Rank #2
Are there Blu-ray or DVD editions?
Official Japanese product pages document standard Blu-ray and DVD editions released March 26, 2025, along with a limited Blu-ray edition. The Japanese anime site lists the editions, and KADOKAWA has an official standard Blu-ray product page. Overlord’s official Japanese anime site and KADOKAWA’s Blu-ray listing establish those Japanese releases; they do not establish an English-language disc edition or current retailer stock. Before buying an import, confirm the disc’s language options and region compatibility on the seller’s listing.
