What does the collaboration sound like?
Spanish broadcaster RTVE describes the track as bringing together Lisa’s hip-hop and rap sounds with Rosalía’s urban style. Rosalía sings in both English and Spanish, adding a bilingual vocal contribution to Lisa’s release. The production is credited to Max Martin and ILYA.
In a review for EL PAÍS, music critic Carlos Marcos described the song as three minutes long and interpreted Rosalía’s section as a pause that gives distinction to its commercial-pop arrangement. That is Marcos’s critical reading, not a consensus description.

What is the “New Woman” video like?
Director Dave Meyers filmed the official video in Los Angeles. The label describes its visual approach as Y2K-inspired; RTVE points to props and styling that evoke the 2000s, including flip phones without touchscreens and digital cameras, alongside leather, glitter, leopard print and metallic tones.
The result places the two performers in fashion-focused scenes rather than presenting the video as a literal narrative. The period references offer a visual context for the collaboration’s polished pop presentation.

What does “New Woman” mean?
RTVE frames the song around female empowerment. That is a useful thematic description, not an exhaustive or exclusive interpretation of the lyrics. The title and presentation can be read in that context, while individual listeners may draw their own conclusions from the song.
