The couple married on September 28, 2024, at Hotel Cala di Volpe in Porto Cervo, Sardinia. Two days later, they announced the marriage together with the caption “Married 💍 Sardinia 28.9.24,” as reported by The Knot. British Vogue identifies the hotel as the wedding venue.
Why did they choose Sardinia?
Agruma told British Vogue that she and Wilson had visited the island earlier in their relationship with friends, the Ganzis, and remembered it as a romantic place. “We went on an amazing trip there early in our relationship with our friends, the Ganzis. We ate amazing food and found it to be the most romantic spot. So we decided we wanted to have a small destination wedding there with just family and close friends.”
How was the wedding planned?
According to British Vogue, the celebration came together in under three months. Wilson said, “We did it in under three months.” Agruma worked with Sara Carboni Events on the design, while Wilson concentrated on reception entertainment.

Reception entertainment
The reception included a 20-piece live band that played three sets, according to British Vogue. The detail offers a glimpse of how the couple divided the planning: Agruma led the design work, and Wilson focused on the music and entertainment.
What did the brides wear?
Both Wilson and Agruma wore Pronovias wedding gowns, according to RTÉ and The Knot. RTÉ describes the gowns as voluminous and off the shoulder. The reports do not establish the exact gown models.

How did the Sardinia wedding differ from the Sydney ceremony?
The September 2024 wedding in Sardinia was followed by a ceremony in Sydney on December 29, 2024. RTÉ reported that Wilson’s sister Liberty officiated the Sydney ceremony. It was a separate occasion from the Italian destination wedding.
