The Dragon Ball Z G-SHOCK is the GA-110JDB, a limited-edition collaboration built on Casio’s GA-110 platform. Its orange illustrated case and bands, gold accents, four-star motif and Z detail give it a distinctive Dragon Ball look, while its functions follow the familiar GA-110 format. Casio announced the Japanese release for August 2020; the launch price was ¥26,400 including tax in Japan, not a current or worldwide price.
What is the Dragon Ball Z G-SHOCK?
Casio’s official English release identifies the watch as the GA-110JDB and says it was developed in collaboration with the Dragon Ball Z anime series. The U.S. version was designated GA110JDB-1A4 by Casio America, which also called it the Dragon Ball GA110. These are region-specific naming conventions for the collaboration watch, rather than evidence of multiple Dragon Ball Z G-SHOCK models. Casio International’s announcement and Casio America’s announcement identify the model and its GA-110 basis.
How the watch uses Dragon Ball Z details
The collaboration’s strongest visual cues are worked into the watch itself. Casio describes an orange body and bands decorated with Dragon Ball illustrations and graphics depicting Son Goku’s training and growth. Gold accents complement the orange color scheme.
- The inset dial at 9 o’clock features a four-star ball motif associated with Goku.
- The 3 o’clock position carries a Z motif.
- The case back and special package bear Dragon Ball Z branding.

These measurements and functions are listed in Casio’s product announcement. The approximately two-year battery figure is the manufacturer’s stated estimate, not a guarantee for every use pattern.

When it launched and what it cost in Japan
Casio Japan announced the watch for release in August 2020 and gave a Japanese suggested retail price of ¥26,400 including tax. That is a historical Japan launch price from Casio Computer Co., Ltd.; it does not establish the present price or availability in Japan or any other market. Casio Japan’s announcement supplies the price and planned release month.
For the United States, Casio America announced the GA110JDB-1A4 on August 3, 2020. Toei Animation’s licensing and merchandising notice, published June 22, 2020, gives August 22, 2020 as the worldwide availability date. The announcements describe different release information and should not be treated as interchangeable: Casio America’s U.S. announcement; Toei Animation’s notice.

Is the GA-110JDB available now?
The launch announcements establish the model, its original release timing and its Japan suggested retail price, but do not verify current stock, resale pricing or the authenticity of any particular seller. If you are considering a listing, check that it identifies the exact model suffix, describes the region and condition accurately, and comes from a seller you can verify.
