The setup is modest, but the episode’s comedy and its mysterious new Majin give the adventure a clear next step.
What happens in Dragon Ball DAIMA episode 2?
Spoilers: Gomah’s wish has turned Goku and his friends small, and they decide to travel to the Demon Realm. The official Dragon Ball episode announcement identifies the episode as “Glorio” and notes that Goku gets his Nyoibo back. It also introduces Glorio, a mysterious young Majin.

The episode shifts from the shock of the premiere toward preparation for the next leg of the story. In The Review Geek’s recap, Bulma needs time to repair Shin’s spaceship, and Glorio offers an alternative way to travel. Goku, Shin, and Glorio then set off together. Those travel details come from that outlet’s recap, rather than the official synopsis.
Why does episode 2 feel like a slow start after episode 1?
Episode 1 had the job of establishing the series’ central disruption. “Glorio” spends more of its time dealing with the consequences: the characters are small, travel plans need sorting out, and the Demon Realm destination has to become a real mission. That makes the episode feel more like a bridge than a second burst of premiere-sized revelations.
#1 Best Overall
Goku getting the Nyoibo back adds a familiar visual thread to a new setup, while his excitement helps keep the preparations light. The shift is deliberate in effect, even if viewers who want immediate escalation may find the pace less gripping than the opener.
Is Dragon Ball DAIMA episode 2 silly or worth watching?
The silliness is part of the episode’s texture, not a measure of its quality. Reviews emphasize different strengths: The Geekiary’s review enjoys the comedic moments and sees Glorio and the new mission as promising additions. The Review Geek’s review is more reserved, calling the episode “fine at best” while still praising its comedy, imagery, and animation.

That difference captures the episode’s trade-off. Its jokes and visual presentation give the preparation scenes energy, but the story is still arranging the pieces for a larger journey. Glorio is the most important forward-looking element: his arrival turns the Demon Realm plan from a destination into an active adventure.

“Glorio” closes the gap between Gomah’s wish and the series’ next phase. The small forms create an ongoing problem, the Nyoibo ties Goku’s new adventure to his past, and Glorio provides a route into the Demon Realm. The episode does not try to outdo the premiere’s major reveal; it gives the story a way to move beyond it.
