Squid Game Season 3
Netflix released all six episodes of Squid Game Season 3 on June 27, 2025. It was the show’s third and final season, continuing the story after the failed uprising and the losses at the end of Season 2. Gi-hun is still trying to end the games, while the Front Man pursues his own plans and the surviving players face consequential choices. The premise sets up the conflict without revealing the finale. Creator and director Hwang Dong-hyuk described the character focus to Netflix: “The story focuses on Seong Gi-hun’s transformation and how he overcomes what comes his way.” Netflix Tudum’s June 27 coverage also identifies the season as the conclusion of the story.
When does The Sandman Season 2 come out?
The Sandman Season 2 was Netflix’s near-term follow-up, not a June 27 premiere. Netflix scheduled Volume 1 for July 3, 2025, and Volume 2 for July 24. The official setup has Dream reunited with his family, facing impossible choices and consequences for himself, his kingdom, and the waking world.
