No credible evidence in the reviewed sources supports the claim that Disney sent children to Jeffrey Epstein’s island, Little St. James. The claim appears to conflate a third-party snorkeling-tour description referring to waters near the island with an actual visit there. Disney told the Associated Press that the tour had no connection to the island and that Disney had never had plans involving it.
Where did the claim come from?
A social-media video posted in December 2023 claimed that children on a Disney Cruise had been taken to Epstein’s island. Similar allegations had circulated online since 2021, according to Myth Detector. The apparent basis was a tour announcement that named Little St. James while describing a snorkeling area.

The wording is important: naming an island to identify nearby snorkeling waters does not establish that a tour landed there or that participants went onto the island. The Associated Press report carried by The Independent described the excursion as a third-party tour associated with Disney Cruise Line, not a Disney-operated visit to Little St. James.
What did Disney say about the tour?
In an emailed statement quoted by the Associated Press, Disney said: “The island, as well as another location, were included in the description of a third-party tour so that participants could identify the areas where snorkeling would be available.” The statement continued: “The tour had no connection to the island itself and Disney has never had plans involving the island.”

Myth Detector’s account also distinguishes the snorkeling area from a visit to the island. The available evidence therefore supports a narrower description: a third-party tour listing referred to snorkeling areas near Little St. James; it does not support the allegation that Disney sent children to the island.
Was the tour running, and is it available now?
The Associated Press reported on April 12, 2022, that the tour was no longer running at that time. That is a dated status report, not proof of the availability or itinerary of every later excursion. The sources cited here do not establish whether a similar tour is offered now.
What about the claim that Disney bought the island?
A separate viral story in 2024 alleged that Disney had bought Epstein’s island and planned a theme park there. Lead Stories traced that claim to Mouse Trap News, a site whose About page identifies its Disney Parks stories as satire and made up. This is a different rumor from the cruise-tour allegation; the origin of one does not establish the other.

The Department of Justice’s Epstein Library search page cautions that technical limitations may make some materials unsearchable or cause unreliable search results. A keyword search that returns no match cannot, by itself, prove that no relevant document exists. For this specific allegation, the relevant evidence described here is the third-party tour wording and Disney’s statement as reported by the Associated Press.
