In Made in Bondi episode five, Bella and Miles kiss, unsettling Lawson, who says he still loves Bella but leaves her unsure whether he wants to be with her. Elsewhere, Charlie tells Pippa he is not ready for a relationship, prompting Molly to defend her heartbroken friend at a function.
Why Lawson and Miles clash over Bella
According to PerthNow journalist Kellie Balaam’s recap, published 18 September 2024, episode five opens at the races, where Bella and Miles arrive by helicopter. Miles makes an effort to impress Bella, and she later tells friends that they kissed and that she felt chemistry between them. Bella wants to tell Lawson herself, but reasons that he cannot object while they are not together.
Lawson tells Bella he still loves her and does not want Miles to get another “notch in his belt.” His mixed message leaves Bella confused: he says he does not want to be with her, yet still wants her in his life. The tension becomes more direct at a function arranged by Billy, where Lawson calls Miles a “handsome worm.” Miles replies that Bella is enjoying moving on from her ex. Lawson then tells him, “You’re not getting in the way of me getting Bella back, Miles you can get f…ed,” as Balaam reports it.
Why Molly loses her temper at Charlie
Pippa tells Molly she wants to make things official with Charlie. Charlie later tells Pippa he is not ready for a relationship and is tempted to see other women when he goes out with single friends. Balaam’s recap says Pippa leaves heartbroken.

At the function, Molly confronts Charlie for leading Pippa on. The recap reports that Molly tells him to “stop talking” and throws sparkling wine at him. Her outburst follows the gap between Pippa’s wish to commit and Charlie’s wish to keep his options open.
Tristan’s two romantic storylines
The episode also leaves Tristan’s romantic life unsettled. After a date at Clovelly Beach, he and Isabella agree to keep seeing each other. Later, at a party, Tristan and Molly admit they are attracted to each other and kiss. The recap presents both connections, without resolving what Tristan will choose.
