Andra Day recorded the hymn “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow” for the 2024 film The Deliverance. Warner Records says the performance appears in the film’s opening and closing moments; the soundtrack single was released on August 30, 2024.
What is Andra Day’s recording?
It is a new recording of an older hymn, not a song written by Day. Apple Music lists it as “I Know Who Holds Tomorrow (From ‘The Deliverance’)” and credits Warner Records as the label. The one-track single runs 3:20. Apple Music’s listing identifies the release date as August 30, 2024, while Warner Records’ press release connects Day’s performance to the film.
