There was no authoritative industry ranking of the ten most anticipated reality shows of 2025. This retrospective is an editorial selection, not a measured top-ten list: it brings together prominent returning franchises, fresh concepts and distinctive formats that platforms and networks announced or previewed for the year. The dates and windows below reflect those announcements; they do not independently confirm that every show premiered as scheduled.
How to read this list
“Most anticipated” is subjective here. The available sources do not provide a comparable survey of audience anticipation across reality TV. Netflix’s 2025 slate supplied several dated returning shows and a new competition, while Bravo and NBCUniversal announced new orders and summer premieres. TIME’s December 2024 broad TV preview included The Traitors, but it was not a reality-only ranking. The ten picks below are grouped by viewing appeal, not ranked against one another.
Dating shows and competition
1. Perfect Match, season 3
Format: Returning dating competition. Netflix’s announced date: August 1, 2025. The series brings together personalities from Netflix and other reality franchises for relationship challenges; successful couples can gain influence over other matches. Its crossover cast and strategic matchmaking make it a natural pick for viewers who like dating shows with a competitive layer. Netflix’s 2025 slate.
2. Love Is Blind, season 9
Format: Returning dating experiment. Netflix’s announced date: October 1, 2025. The season was set in Denver. Singles meet and choose potential spouses without seeing one another, then find out whether their connection holds up outside the pods. It is the familiar flagship dating format in this selection. Netflix’s 2025 slate.

Bravo’s announced series and social worlds
Bravo and NBCUniversal’s May 2025 announcements included new series orders as well as dated summer programming. Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. What was firmly on the 2025 schedule?
The distinction matters if you are looking specifically for shows with announced 2025 dates. Netflix gave dates for the seven returning or new programs listed above, apart from Next Gen Chef, which had a fall window. Bravo’s May guide also listed these dated summer premieres:
- Below Deck, season 12 — June 2, 2025.
- Next Gen NYC, season 1 — June 3, 2025.
- The Real Housewives of Miami, season 7 — June 11, 2025.
- Kings Court, season 1 — July 13, 2025.
Those dates are from Bravo’s schedule announcement; the cited slate is not independent confirmation of each actual release. Bravo’s four newly ordered concepts included Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition, a crossover announced for an upcoming year but without a confirmed 2025 premiere date in these sources. It could replace one of the undated Bravo picks if the emphasis is on new concepts rather than a balanced mix. Bravo’s May 2025 guide and NBCUniversal’s descriptions of Bravo’s new and returning series.
Where the announcements said to watch
The Netflix titles above were listed in Netflix’s own slate. NBCUniversal and Bravo stated that Bravo shows stream on Peacock the next day. That is the companies’ platform statement, not a guarantee that every title is currently available in every country. Check the local service catalog for present availability.
