Public reporting links Al Pacino to a longtime home in Snedens Landing, two former properties nearby, Manhattan apartment residences and a Beverly Hills house he rented for years. It does not establish a complete deed-by-deed inventory, so the homes below are the principal reported residences—not a verified list of every house he has owned.

Snedens Landing: the reported longtime home
Architectural Digest Middle East reported in September 2026 that Pacino’s East Coast base is a property in Snedens Landing, a hamlet in Palisades, Rockland County, about 12 miles north of Manhattan. The account says he bought the three-acre property in 1979 and still owns it. The house was built in 1971 and is described as approximately 4,290 square feet, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Its interiors have largely remained private. These are media-reported details, not the result of a title search. Architectural Digest Middle East’s account
Re-thinking the Future gives the reported 1979 purchase price as $375,000. That figure is a reported historical price, not an independently verified deed amount. Re-thinking the Future’s overview

The guesthouse sold in 2013
A separate guesthouse on a bluff above the Hudson River reportedly sold in 2013 for $3.3 million. Architectural Digest Middle East describes a house built in 1941, about 4,340 square feet, with three bedrooms and four bathrooms. Its account mentions timber interiors, a curved staircase, fireplace, French doors and veranda. Re-thinking the Future also reports the sale price and describes the property; the accounts are not a substitute for closing records. Architectural Digest Middle East and Re-thinking the Future

The smaller home sold in 2010
Architectural Digest Middle East and Re-thinking the Future report that Pacino sold a nearby 1,578-square-foot house in 2010 for $580,000. The accounts differ on the bathroom count, so it is best left out rather than treated as settled. The reporting identifies the location only at the neighborhood level. Beverly Hills: a long-term rental, not an owned home
Pacino reportedly rented a house in the Beverly Hills Flats from novelist Jackie Collins from 2006 until late 2024. Architectural Digest Middle East says Collins died in 2015 and that developer Ben Nehmadi bought two properties in 2016, with $9 million attributed to Pacino’s rental house as part of the transaction. That reported amount should not be confused with a price paid by Pacino: the reporting describes a purchase involving the owner’s property, not Pacino buying the home. Mansion Global describes the house as about 5,200 square feet on a 0.69-acre lot, built in 1922 and remodeled in 1938 by Douglas Honnold, with six bedrooms and six bathrooms. Architectural Digest Middle East gives an approximate area of 5,300 square feet; measurements can differ by source. Reported features include a wood-paneled great room, pool, cabana and tennis court. In 2025 the property was reported listed for $15.95 million—an asking price, not a confirmed sale price. Listing agent Bobby Syed told Mansion Global he had been told Pacino rented the home; that is an account relayed by the agent, not direct confirmation from Pacino or Collins. Mansion Global’s report
A separate short Beverly Hills-area lease in 1998
A contemporaneous Los Angeles Times report said Pacino leased a gated Beverly Hills-area house for five weeks at $16,500 per month. It described a 1940-built house with four bedrooms and four bathrooms. The report does not establish that this was the later Collins rental, so the two should be treated as distinct reported arrangements. Los Angeles Times, 1998

Manhattan residences: reported apartments, unclear ownership
Architectural Digest Middle East associates Pacino with apartments at the Apthorp on the Upper West Side and Central Park Place. It reports that he began living at Central Park Place in 1988 and occupied different apartments there through 2013; one was a 14th-floor corner apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. This establishes reported residence, not a verified record that he owned those units. Architectural Digest Middle East
Re-thinking the Future also discusses a Central Park South condominium sale in 2018, but its account does not align cleanly with the reported Central Park Place timeline and is not enough to establish Pacino’s ownership or a complete Manhattan transaction history. Re-thinking the Future

Why El Fureidis is not part of his home list
El Fureidis, the Montecito estate used as a filming location in Scarface, is sometimes mistakenly described as Pacino’s house. Re-thinking the Future says that ownership claim is incorrect. A film location does not establish that an actor lived in or owned the property. Re-thinking the Future
What the public record does—and does not—show
The evidence supports a useful outline: a reported long-term New York-area home, two reported Palisades sales, a prominent Los Angeles rental and reported Manhattan residences. It does not prove every ownership, transaction or residence across Pacino’s life. Sale prices, a reported purchase price and a later asking price describe different events and should not be compared as if they were equivalent measures of value.
