No—the available official notice does not say that Hulu’s US price change for existing subscribers takes effect October 10. Hulu says subscribers who joined before September 23, 2026, will see a price change in a billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026. The date on your own bill depends on your billing cycle.
When does Hulu raise its prices?
Hulu’s US plans notice gives two dates for different groups: listed prices for new subscriptions apply from September 23, 2026; subscribers who signed up before then will see a price change in a billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026. Hulu’s notice does not support October 10 as the effective date for existing subscribers.

Hulu states: “If you signed up for a Hulu subscription prior to this date, you will see a price change in your billing cycle on or after October 21, 2026.” The notice is on Hulu’s US plans page, which says subscriptions require being located in the United States.
When will the new price show up on my bill?
The change is tied to your billing cycle, not a single date on which every existing subscriber is charged. Check your account’s next billing date and any account-specific notice from Hulu to see when the change applies to you.

Are the exact new Hulu plan prices confirmed?
The available official notice confirms the timing but does not provide readable plan-by-plan before-and-after amounts. That means the exact increase for each plan cannot be established from this notice alone. Check Hulu’s plans page or your account notice for the amount that applies to your subscription; do not infer it from the dates.
Does the Hulu + Live TV offer explain the price change?
No. Hulu’s separate Hulu + Live TV offer page displays a promotion of $49.99 for one month, then $99.99 per month or the then-current regular monthly price. The offer is stated to end at 9:00 a.m. Pacific Time on October 26, 2026, and eligibility restrictions apply. This is a promotional Live TV rate, not evidence of the standalone-plan increase or its effective date.
