Jordan shared the news in an Instagram post, as reported by TVLine and Entertainment Tonight.
What Montana Jordan announced
Jordan, who played Georgie Cooper on Young Sheldon, announced the birth of his daughter on Instagram. His caption, reproduced by Entertainment Tonight and TVLine, read: “God has blessed me with a beautiful babygirl. Emma Rae Jordan, Momma and Daddy love you. Forever and always.”
The announcement identified Jenna Weeks as Emma Rae’s mother and Jordan’s girlfriend at the time. The reports describe what Jordan shared publicly; they do not independently establish private details beyond that announcement.
When the birth was announced
Jordan shared the news on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, according to TVLine, which published its report that day. Entertainment Tonight’s report followed on May 22, 2024, and also said he announced the birth on Tuesday with a photo.

Jordan and Weeks’ relationship context
Entertainment Tonight reported that Jordan and Weeks went Instagram official in November 2021. The outlet also noted that they attended the 2024 CMT Music Awards in Austin on April 7, 2024. Those are dated details from before the birth announcement; they do not establish the couple’s current relationship status.
How the news connects to Young Sheldon
TVLine reported that the Young Sheldon Instagram account congratulated Jordan with the words, “From on-screen dad to IRL dad ❤️ Congratulations.” That was a reaction to the actor’s real-life announcement, not a reference to the character’s storyline.
