A separate Disney Villains collaboration followed in September, so the two launches are best understood as distinct chapters of the season.
When did the 2025 Halloween collection launch?
Bath & Body Works called its early Halloween-season release Summerween. The company’s June 30 announcement said loyalty members could shop online that day; the full assortment was scheduled to reach stores nationwide on July 7. The company described the collection as more than 70 products, spanning fragrance and body care as well as home-fragrance items and decorative accessories. Bath & Body Works’ announcement is the source for those launch dates and the assortment count.
Which fragrances were in Summerween?
The launch announcement highlighted six scents and described their notes as follows:
- I Scream Float: fizzing cola, vanilla and a touch of spooky sweetness. The company called it a new gourmand fragrance and said its limited-edition early drop sold out in one day on TikTok Shop.
- Vampire Blood: red berries, night-blooming jasmine and petrifying plum; described as a returning favorite.
- Immortal: black plum, sueded saffron and aged oak. Bath & Body Works described it as its first men’s Halloween fragrance, first introduced the previous year; the 2025 cologne came in a coffin-shaped box.
- Ghoul Friend: dark strawberries, ghostly peony and spine-chilling citrus.
- Wicked Vanilla Woods: magical vanilla, glowing amber wood and enchanted pink pepper.
- Candy Apple Cauldron: green apple, simmering sugar and crystallized bergamot.
These are the company’s launch descriptions, not independent evaluations of how the fragrances smell on skin or in a room.

What else was included besides fragrance?
Summerween was not limited to candles and body products. Bath & Body Works also described themed décor and accessories: a ghostly three-wick candle pedestal holder, a bubbling cauldron hand-soap dispenser, black-cat PocketBac holders and Wallflower plugs, and a Frankenstein’s Bakery luminary. The assortment combined personal fragrance and body care with home fragrance and Halloween display pieces.
How did the Disney Villains collection differ?
The Disney Villains collaboration was a later, separate launch—not another name for Summerween. Disney Consumer Products announced a 39-product assortment inspired by The Evil Queen and Maleficent. Loyalty-member online access was listed for August 26–27, 2025, followed by the store and general online launch on September 3. Disney Consumer Products’ announcement lists the products and timing.

The Disney announcement gives these scent descriptions: The Evil Queen pairs Dark Red Apple, Wicked Pear and Vanilla Suede; Maleficent pairs Sinister Plum, Midnight Berries and Mystical Woods. The character scents belong to that collaboration; the launch announcements do not establish that they were part of Summerween.
What does the current Halloween page tell shoppers?
Bath & Body Works’ live US Halloween category page currently shows examples such as Vampire Blood and Ghoul Friend candles, body care, hand soap, Wallflowers and Halloween accessories. It is a current retail page rather than a dated archive, so its listed products, prices, promotions and stock do not establish what was available in 2025. What the launch figures do—and do not—show
The more-than-70 Summerween count and 39-product Disney Villains count are the companies’ stated assortment sizes for those launches. They are not sales totals, evidence of customer preference or measures of the collection’s performance. The cited launch announcements do not provide independent sales or consumer-preference figures for the 2025 collection.
