Kristin Scott Thomas said her sister turned family recipes collected by their mother into a book as a wedding present. Scott Thomas shared the story while confirming her marriage to John Micklethwait in a November 2024 appearance on Ruthie’s Table 4.
What wedding gift did Kristin Scott Thomas receive?
Her sister made a book of family recipes. Their mother had gathered the recipes from relatives on both sides of the family, including a great-grandmother in Scotland. Scott Thomas said her sister scanned and photographed the collected recipes and assembled them into a book.
On the Ruthie’s Table 4 podcast, Scott Thomas described it as her wedding present. Host Ruth Rogers called it “a history” and “a biography and memoir recipes.”
What did she share about the wedding?
Scott Thomas confirmed that she had married John Micklethwait, Bloomberg’s editor-in-chief. Contemporary reports placed the wedding in Rutland, England, and said she mentioned coronation chicken at the celebration.
