AQWA does not allow large pull-along wagons or carts in its aquarium exhibit areas. Visitors must leave them in the pram parking area; medical equipment is exempt. The rule does not say that visitors cannot arrive with a cart or that carts are prohibited everywhere on the grounds.
Where AQWA’s cart restriction applies
AQWA’s visitor guidance states: “For the safety and enjoyment of all visitors, large pull along wagons/carts are not permitted in the aquarium exhibit areas and must be left in the pram parking area (medical equipment exempt).” The policy refers to large pull-along wagons or carts in exhibit areas; it does not describe a site-wide ban. Check AQWA’s visitor information for the current wording and visit details.
What to use instead for a child
AQWA welcomes prams and strollers throughout the venue. It recommends a baby carrier if possible and says complimentary compact strollers are available from Reception. The guidance does not specify stroller features or compare child-transport options.
- Your pram or stroller: permitted throughout the venue.
- Baby carrier: AQWA’s suggested option if carrying your child is practical for you.
- Complimentary compact stroller: ask at Reception about availability.
