Start with the gentle clues below and stop before the solution sections if you want to avoid spoilers.
How to approach Connections #208
Connections asks you to sort sixteen words into four groups of four, each sharing a connection. The groups are color-coded by difficulty, from yellow (easiest) through green and blue to purple (hardest). A convincing-looking set can still be a red herring if one word belongs elsewhere.
For a first pass, scan the board for a pair or trio that might share a property. Then check whether one more word completes a coherent four-word set before submitting. You select four words at a time, and the game allows up to four mistakes.
Hints for each group
These clues do not give away the category labels. The groups are listed in the game’s usual difficulty order.
