When were the trailer and tickets announced?
On January 7, 2026, Bleecker Street’s event-cinema division Crosswalk and Universal Pictures International revealed the official trailer and announced that tickets were on sale through the official film website. The announcement set February 6, 2026 as the worldwide theatrical release date where available. Those are historical announcement details, not confirmation of tickets currently being available. Live Nation’s announcement also specified advance event screenings in North America on February 4, with screenings in select additional countries from that date.
Crosswalk handled North American distribution, while Universal handled international distribution except in Korea and Japan. The official Universal Pictures UK trailer, published January 7, introduces the concert performances, behind-the-scenes material and interviews.
What is the film about?
The documentary centers on Stray Kids’ sold-out dominATE tour performances at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles, combining concert footage with backstage scenes and interviews. The official Japanese film site describes the tour as 56 performances across 35 regions. The film opened in 61 regions, according to that same site; the tour’s reach and the film’s release footprint are separate figures. Where and when can you watch it?
Theatrical screenings
The initial February 6, 2026 release date was qualified as “where available” and did not apply uniformly to all territories. Japan’s nationwide theatrical opening was later set for May 15, 2026. As of October 4, 2026, both dates have passed; check local cinema listings for any current screenings and ticket availability. The Japanese film site offers theater and ticket navigation, but those listings are specific to Japan.

Streaming in Japan
Sony Music Japan announced that subscription streaming on Disney+ in Japan would begin September 2, 2026. This confirms availability in Japan only. The official announcements cited here do not establish a Disney+ date for the United States or a global streaming release. Sony Music Japan’s streaming announcement gives the Japan date.
Which theatrical format should you choose?
Japan’s official film site lists 2D, SCREENX, 4DX and ULTRA 4DX presentations. The options differ in image and physical effects; availability and any surcharge depend on the theater.

The Japanese site says advance movie tickets can be used, but premium-format screenings carry an additional charge. Confirm the format, availability and total price with the theater before booking. The official Japanese site describes the formats.

The official Japanese film site reports opening-period figures, not total worldwide grosses. It gives approximately $5.6 million for the North American opening weekend from 1,724 theaters, around $2.1 million in Mexico (where the film ranked number one), $1.6 million in Germany, and $1.4 million in the United Kingdom and Ireland. These are the site’s stated market figures and should not be read as a cumulative global total. The film site’s release information provides the figures.
