What is The Weekend View?
The Weekend View is a half-hour weekend extension of ABC’s daytime talk show The View. It streams on ABC News Live and features new Hot Topics and Behind the Table segments, with an editorial focus ABC describes as entertainment stories and trending social topics. In the launch announcement, executive producer Brian Teta described the series as new exclusive weekend streaming content. Executive broadcast producer Robin Hommel said it would bring audiences more Hot Topics and focus on what was trending. Those are ABC’s descriptions of the program, not independent audience or popularity measurements.
