Lee Child said Reacher Season 4 would begin shooting in summer 2025, and TechRadar reported on July 1, 2025 that filming had commenced. The season has since premiered: Amazon says all eight episodes are streaming on Prime Video, with availability varying by territory.
When did Season 4 start filming?
Before production began, author Lee Child told TechRadar: “It’s written and it’s ready to go. It’s going to start shooting in the summer.” On July 1, 2025, TechRadar reported that filming had officially commenced and noted set images posted by star Alan Ritchson. Those reports establish the season’s summer 2025 start window, but not the exact first day of principal photography. TechRadar’s July 1, 2025 report
What is Season 4 about?
Season 4 adapts Gone Tomorrow, Lee Child’s 13th Jack Reacher novel. Amazon’s synopsis begins with Reacher encountering a distraught stranger on a Philadelphia subway; that chance meeting pulls him into a deadly game. Amazon’s Season 4 coverage identifies the book adaptation, while the Prime Video listing gives the Philadelphia setting and episode details.
Can you watch it now?
Yes. The official Prime Video listing identifies Season 4 as an eight-episode 2026 season, with its finale dated September 15, 2026. Amazon’s current editorial coverage says all episodes are streaming on Prime Video; catalog access can differ by territory.
