What is Focus about?
Nicky (Will Smith) is a seasoned con artist skilled in misdirection. He meets Jess (Margot Robbie), a novice who wants to learn the trade, and begins teaching her. Their partnership becomes romantic, but when Jess gets close to him, Nicky ends the relationship and walks away.
Three years later, Jess turns up in Buenos Aires while Nicky is carrying out a dangerous scheme. Her return disrupts his plans. The setup combines deception, romance and a crime-caper premise without giving away the story’s resolution. Warner Bros. describes the film’s premise in its official film materials.

When was Focus released?
The U.S. theatrical release was February 27, 2015. IMAX’s January 29, 2015 announcement specified a U.S. domestic IMAX opening on that date; Rotten Tomatoes also lists February 27 as the U.S. theatrical release. Release dates varied by territory: Spain’s official film catalog records a March 27, 2015 release.
What is its rating and runtime?
These details differ by national classification system and catalog. Rotten Tomatoes lists the U.S. rating as R for language, brief violence and some sexual content, and gives a runtime of 1 hour 45 minutes. Spain’s ICAA catalog classifies the film as not recommended for viewers under 16 and lists a runtime of 104 minutes. The one-minute runtime difference may reflect rounding or differing catalog records; its cause is not established.

Can you buy Focus on Blu-ray or DVD?
Warner Bros. has published Blu-ray, DVD and digital home-video materials for the film. Its Italian home-video announcement, dated July 16, 2015, described Blu-ray and DVD editions and named Amazon as a purchase route. Before buying, check that the specific edition is in stock and that its region format works with your player.
