For a prerecorded devotional video, upload and schedule it in YouTube Studio—not in Astra Streaming. The Astra Streaming Studio listing describes a mobile live-streaming and recording app, but does not document a feature for uploading a finished video and scheduling its YouTube publication. If you want a scheduled livestream instead, create the event in YouTube Studio and connect a source that sends a live feed.
What Astra Streaming does—and what it does not establish
Google Play describes Astra Streaming Studio, by MIV Dev, as an app for streaming live video from a mobile device. Its listed capabilities include H.264/AAC encoding; SRT, RTMP and RTSP streaming; secure RTMPS/RTSPS with authorization; MP4 saving and loop recording; multiple simultaneous connections; camera switching; screen capture; image and slideshow overlays; video filters; and broadcast scenes. The listing says it was updated October 31, 2023. It does not describe uploading a finished video to YouTube or scheduling its publication.
The listing displayed a 50K+ downloads band when accessed October 4, 2026. That is a store download band, not a verified count of active users or evidence that the current app works on a particular device.
Schedule a prerecorded devotional video on YouTube
These are YouTube Studio steps, not Astra controls. YouTube Help describes scheduled publishing as a way to make a private video public at a specific time.

- Finish and save your devotional video on your device or computer.
- Sign in to YouTube Studio, select Create → Upload videos, and choose the video file.
- Enter the video details and complete the upload flow.
- Open the Schedule card. Choose the intended date, time, and time zone, then select Schedule.
- Return to YouTube Studio and confirm that the video shows the intended scheduled time. You can later change the schedule or publish the video immediately.
Check the date and time carefully
YouTube says the date shown on the public watch page is based on Pacific Standard Time. For a creator scheduling from a time zone ahead of PST, the date beneath the published video may differ from the date shown in Studio. If the date itself matters—for example, for a devotional tied to a festival—check how the scheduled time translates before confirming.
If a Community Guidelines strike affects the channel
YouTube says a Community Guidelines strike penalty can prevent scheduled publication during the penalty period. The affected video remains private and must be rescheduled after the freeze period. Check the video’s status in Studio rather than assuming it will become public at the original time.

Schedule a devotional livestream instead
A scheduled Live event and a scheduled video upload are different. A Live event can give viewers an upcoming event page and, in some cases, a “Notify me” option; it does not by itself transmit or loop a devotional video. You must connect a source that sends live video and audio.
- In YouTube Studio, create or schedule a live stream using YouTube’s live-stream controls.
- Use the stream URL and stream key provided by YouTube to connect an encoder or other live source. Keep the stream key private.
- Start the source when you are ready to send the feed, and confirm that YouTube receives it before the event begins.
Astra’s listing includes live-streaming protocols such as RTMP/RTMPS, so it may be relevant as a mobile live source. However, the listing does not establish its exact YouTube setup steps or confirm the current destination and account workflow. Check the current app and developer instructions before relying on it for an event.

YouTube’s live-stream settings help says a scheduled-stream trailer is available to creators with more than 1,000 subscribers and no Community Guidelines strikes. That eligibility condition applies to the trailer feature, not to ordinary scheduled video uploads.
Choose between an upload and a livestream

Plan a devotional publishing calendar you can sustain
YouTube recommends considering frequency, consistency, content volume, production time, audience goals, and notable dates when setting a release schedule. Its Help guidance says: “A consistent, sustainable release schedule is critical when building and fulfilling audience expectations and maintaining your wellbeing.” You can plan weeks or months ahead and tell viewers clearly when the schedule changes.

There is no established universally best weekday or devotional hour. Choose a time that suits the channel’s audience and your capacity to prepare the content; use your channel analytics as one input rather than treating any particular prayer time as proven to maximize reach.
