In YouTube Studio, open Analytics → Revenue → How you make money → Memberships, then choose the date range you want. This shows membership revenue for your channel; YouTube’s published guidance does not establish a reliable total attributable to one specific 24/7 live stream. India is on YouTube’s channel-memberships availability list, but each channel must also meet eligibility and policy requirements.
Check membership revenue in YouTube Studio
- Sign in to YouTube Studio with the account for your channel.
- Open Analytics and select Revenue.
- Under How you make money, select Memberships.
- Choose a custom date range to review the period you care about. The Memberships report supports a custom period and a video-format filter. See YouTube’s membership analytics instructions.
For a higher-level count of membership transactions, look at the Transactions Revenue card. YouTube defines transactions as new sign-ups or recurring transactions; the count is not the same as active members or a payment balance.
What the reports measure
Analytics Memberships report
The Revenue report is the practical place to check membership earnings over a selected Analytics date range. Treat its Memberships figure as channel-level revenue unless Studio clearly labels a narrower supported breakdown.
Earn → Memberships
The separate Earn → Memberships tab provides program information and revenue for the last billing period, compared with the previous billing period. A billing period can be 28, 30, or 31 days, depending on the calendar month. Its member totals also need careful reading: total members can include people who canceled but retain access to perks until their billing period ends. See YouTube’s membership program guide.
#1 Best Overall
Audience → Total Member
For member activity rather than earnings, open Analytics → Audience → Total Member. Its detailed view includes total and active members, gained members, canceled members, and members lost after their canceled billing period ends. The Memberships Type report shows gifted and redeemed membership counts for the selected period.
Can you attribute membership revenue to one 24/7 stream?
Do not assume that the channel’s Memberships revenue was generated by a particular always-on broadcast. YouTube’s live metrics documentation says interaction and revenue reports are unavailable when Analytics is filtered to Live, even though the memberships guide describes a video-format filter for the Memberships breakdown. The official guidance does not promise a stream-only membership revenue total. See YouTube’s live-stream metrics instructions.
Rank #2
Live analytics can still help you assess a broadcast using measures such as views, watch time, concurrent viewers, and chat messages. Those performance metrics are not membership revenue, and they do not prove that a particular stream caused a sign-up. If your account shows a clearly labeled Memberships breakdown by format, report only what that view actually labels and for the selected period; do not describe it as per-broadcast attribution without that evidence.
India availability and channel eligibility
India appears on YouTube’s list of locations where channel memberships are available. Location availability does not automatically qualify every channel. YouTube’s eligibility guidance includes fan-funding minimums, restrictions relating to channels set as made for kids or containing a significant number of ineligible videos, and compliance with applicable terms and policies, including accepting the Commerce Product Module. If Memberships is absent from Studio, the channel may not yet be eligible or the feature may not be available to it. Check YouTube’s channel-memberships eligibility guidance.

Rank #3
If your channel is in a multi-channel network (MCN), check your agreement with the network. YouTube notes that an MCN may take an additional share.
Understand estimates, deductions, and payout timing
- Analytics is not the finalized balance: YouTube says revenue takes two days to appear in Analytics, and estimated figures can later change through adjustments. YouTube’s Android revenue guide describes that reporting delay: Check your YouTube revenue.
- Creator share: YouTube says creators receive 70% of membership revenue after applicable taxes and fees are deducted; YouTube currently covers transaction costs. An MCN may take an additional share, so consult your agreement. See YouTube’s partner earnings overview.
- Finalized earnings: YouTube says earnings for the previous month are added to the AdSense for YouTube account balance between the 7th and 12th of the following month. Finalized earnings appear in AdSense for YouTube and can differ from Analytics estimates, including because of tax withholding. See the partner earnings overview.
If a report or label is missing
- Memberships does not appear: check whether the channel meets YouTube’s eligibility and policy requirements, and whether the feature is available to the channel.
- A Live filter has no revenue report: this is consistent with YouTube’s documented limitation for Live-filtered Analytics. Use the channel-level Memberships report for earnings rather than treating live performance metrics as revenue.
- The layout differs or a breakdown is unavailable: YouTube has been gradually rolling out an updated Analytics experience since July 2026, so labels and layout may vary. Some reports may not be available on mobile; try YouTube Studio on a computer if you cannot find a needed breakdown. See YouTube Analytics guidance.
Or let it run in the cloud
