The museum’s online catalogue lists named products and displayed prices, but listings and stock can change; check the live museum shop catalogue before ordering. The oversized “Pikachu at the Museum” promo card was a gift with purchase, not a standard product, and the museum reports that it is sold out.
What is the Pokémon × Natural History Museum collection?
The collaboration was made for London’s Natural History Museum around Pokécology, a theme inspired by the Japanese publication Pokécology: An Illustrated Guide to Pokémon Ecology. The museum says the designs bring together the natural world, evolution, creatures and environments. They draw on Hintze Hall and its botanical ceiling panels, naturalist books and scientific illustrations in the museum’s archives, with Grass-, Water- and Bug-type Pokémon and Eevee evolutions among the motifs. (Natural History Museum, 7 January 2026)
The book is identified as inspiration; the announcement does not establish that it was sold as pop-up merchandise. The museum also says purchases from its shop and online support its charitable mission, including work by 400 scientists — Natural History Museum, 2026.
What can you buy, and what were the listed prices?
The museum catalogue showed 41 entries across three pages when reviewed. The following are examples of products and displayed prices from that online listing, not a promise that every item was stocked at the physical pop-up or remains available. Where can you shop, and is the pop-up still open?
The announced channels included the Natural History Museum’s online shop and selected ranges at Pokémon Center UK. That announcement does not mean every product is sold through both retailers or is currently available there. Current Pokémon Center stock was not verified. The pop-up was originally announced for the Cranbourne Boutique from 26 January to 19 April 2026. The museum later posted updates about an extension and a walk-in arrangement, and says it will publish a closing date at least two weeks in advance. The event page has carried both original ticketed-run and later extended-run information, so check it before travelling rather than relying on the original end date.
For the extended run, the museum says no ticket is required to enter the Pokémon shop, although it recommends booking a free general museum entry ticket. Its extended-run notice says there is no item limit; older FAQs about the original ticketed run should not be taken as current limits. The museum also directs shoppers to its online shop to check stock and notes that some original stock has sold out.

Delivery rules, especially for the plush
The museum’s Pokémon FAQ says the Pokémon Pikachu and Natural History Museum Plush can only be delivered to UK addresses through its online shop. Other Pokémon products can be delivered to EU countries, but the museum lists Russia, Belarus, Greenland, Serbia and North Korea as excluded destinations. It estimates up to 14 working days for UK Royal Mail orders; international courier and delivery times vary by region, with up to 14 working days allowed. Confirm the current terms and destination eligibility at checkout. (Natural History Museum shop FAQ)
Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone. Was the “Pikachu at the Museum” promo card for sale?
No. The oversized Pokémon TCG card featuring “Pikachu at the Museum” was a gift with purchase at the pop-up, limited to one per customer. The museum’s later event page and FAQ report that the promotional cards are now out of stock or sold out, so it should not be treated as a product currently available to buy. The original Pokémon announcement said selected UK retailers would also offer it as a gift with purchase from 30 January 2026, and that it would not be available through Pokémon Center.
