Where is Kevin Franke now?
His exact current residence has not been established in the reliable reporting reviewed for this article. Earlier coverage placed events involving the family in Utah, but that does not prove where Kevin lives today. Nor does the reported location of his late-2025 wedding establish his present home.
His current occupation is also not established by those reports. Older references to academic or engineering work are not enough to say what his job is now. The clearest recent public milestones are his divorce and remarriage, rather than details of his private routine.
What has changed in Kevin’s life since the separation?
Separation and divorce
The Associated Press reported in March 2024 that investigators said Ruby asked Kevin to move out in July 2022, before her arrest. The AP also reported that he had not seen Ruby or the children since then. That is a retrospective account of the period described in the reporting, not an update on their arrangements today. Kevin filed for divorce in November 2023, ABC News reported, and Netflix Tudum says the divorce was finalized in March 2025.

Remarriage
Netflix Tudum reports that Kevin married Becca Bevan in late 2025. The report does not establish an exact wedding date, and the public milestone does not reveal where Kevin currently lives or how his private family life is organized.

His interview with ABC News
In a February 25, 2025, ABC News interview with Eva Pilgrim, Kevin and his adult son Chad spoke publicly after Ruby’s sentencing. Kevin reflected on the family’s exposure on social media and said, “I want people to know that there is real danger when you place yourself or your family or children out onto public social media.” He also said he had trusted a licensed mental-health counselor and his wife, and that they had given “some terrible counsel.” These are Kevin’s retrospective statements in that interview, not a full account independently establishing every private event. ABC reported that he said he still loved Ruby but did not want her back in his life or the children’s lives.

Child-welfare protections
Netflix Tudum reported that Kevin addressed Utah’s Child Welfare Legislative Oversight Panel in July 2024, urging changes to close gaps in intervention authority. The Washington Post also reported his support for protections for child influencers. These public efforts are a documented part of his post-separation activity; they do not provide a full picture of his personal circumstances.

In August 2025, Deseret News/KSL reported that Kevin filed a civil suit against Jodi Hildebrandt alleging negligence and damages. Those are claims in a complaint, not a court finding. The reporting reviewed here does not establish a later outcome in the case.

Why so much of his life remains private
Public interviews and legal milestones offer only a partial view of a person’s life. The reporting reviewed does not establish Kevin’s current home, daily work, or present private family arrangements. Reports have also withheld the younger Franke children’s identities; their current circumstances and experiences should not be inferred from older accounts. The AP’s 2024 report about the period after the 2022 separation should not be treated as a current custody update.
