When did Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 come out on Crunchyroll?
Crunchyroll’s release announcement set the Season 3 premiere for January 8, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. PT. The service said weekly episodes would follow on Thursdays, beginning January 15 at 8:30 a.m. PT. These are the Pacific Time schedule details in Crunchyroll’s announcement; they are not Japanese broadcast times. Crunchyroll’s release-date and time announcement was published December 16, 2025, and updated January 8, 2026.
How did the Japanese TV premiere differ?
Japan’s terrestrial broadcast began on January 8, 2026, at 12:26 a.m. Thursday in Japan, on the MBS/TBS 28-station Super Animeism TURBO slot. The official anime schedule describes the opening broadcast as a one-hour special showing episodes 1 and 2 together. The Japanese television time and Crunchyroll’s Pacific Time stream time refer to different markets and schedules. The official Japanese anime broadcast schedule lists the television information.
Was the first episode a double premiere?
Yes. The season opened with episodes 1 and 2 airing back-to-back on January 8, 2026. Crunchyroll reported the double premiere alongside its coverage of the Jump Festa 2026 stage, while the official Japanese schedule identifies the TV broadcast as a one-hour special. Was the Jump Festa video the final trailer?
The available Crunchyroll report calls it a “new trailer,” released from the series’ Jump Festa 2026 stage. It does not call it the final trailer, so that label is not established by this announcement. The report says the stage also revealed the opening theme song, an updated visual, and six additional cast members; it does not provide a verified scene-by-scene account of the trailer.
What story does Season 3 adapt?
Crunchyroll says Season 3 adapts the first part of The Culling Game arc from Gege Akutami’s manga. The announcement does not establish the exact manga volume at which the season ends. Readers who want the source material can look for Akutami’s manga, but a specific volume range should not be inferred from this season description.

Where can you watch the Culling Game arc?
Crunchyroll named North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, CIS, India, and Southeast Asia in its release announcement. That is the territory list published for the premiere, not a live guarantee of availability in every country. Check the Crunchyroll catalog for your location, since streaming rights and catalog listings can change. The earlier November 2025 announcement had confirmed same-day streaming with the Japanese premiere while giving January 2026 as the expected month; the later announcement supplied the exact Pacific Time schedule.
