What has Sophia Bush said about the breakup?
In an April 2024 account of Bush’s essay for Glamour, the Los Angeles Times reported that she described the marriage unraveling during a difficult period that included fertility treatment. Bush wrote that she came to feel her partner did not speak the same emotional language she did and that she knew she had made a mistake before filing.
Those are Bush’s retrospective statements, not a full account of the private relationship from both former spouses. Addressing public speculation about the end of her marriage, she wrote: “The ones who said I’d left my ex because I suddenly realized I wanted to be with women — my partners have known what I’m into for as long as I have (so that’s not it, y’all, sorry!).” The Los Angeles Times reproduced the sentence from her Glamour essay.
