Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Fix the driver behind crashes, sound loss and screen glitches2Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors3Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteIf viewers can hear you but not the game or video on your Streamlabs Mobile YouTube stream, the fix depends on whether you use an iPhone or Android phone. First identify whether the missing sound is game/video audio, your microphone, or alert sounds. On Android, check for an Internal Audio source; on iPhone or iPad, Streamlabs’ documented workaround is to disconnect headphones so the phone’s microphone can pick up sound from its speakers.
First identify which sound is missing
Check the stream or its YouTube recording (VOD), then distinguish among these sources. A working microphone does not prove that game audio is being captured, and working game audio does not prove that your voice is audible.
- Game or video sound: the audio playing on the phone.
- Your voice: sound from the phone’s microphone or an external microphone.
- Alerts: notification sounds configured in Streamlabs.
Use the matching fix below rather than changing unrelated settings. Streamlabs documents separate audio and screen-capture controls in its mobile streaming guide.
Fix missing game or video audio on iPhone or iPad
Streamlabs’ iOS guidance describes an acoustic workaround: the phone microphone needs to pick up sound coming from the phone’s speakers. Headphones can prevent that pickup, so test without wired or Bluetooth headphones before changing other settings.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
- Disconnect wired and Bluetooth headphones.
- Play the game or video and set the phone speaker to a reasonable volume.
- Keep your hand clear of the microphone. Streamlabs advises, “Since your audio is captured through your microphone make sure your hand isn’t covering it.”
- Start a short test stream or recording, then check whether the game/video sound is present.
Because this method relies on the microphone hearing the speakers, it may also pick up room noise. Do not assume an Android-style internal audio switch is available on iPhone; Streamlabs’ iOS help instead describes speaker-to-microphone pickup. In the app, inspect Streaming Settings > Audio Settings and Screen Capture Settings for the source and volume controls available in your installed version. Streamlabs’ iOS game-streaming guide lists screen-capture audio controls, while its broader mobile guide describes audio settings such as volume, sample rate, and external audio channels. Labels can differ by app version.
Fix missing game or video audio on Android
Streamlabs identifies Internal Audio as the Android source for game sound. Check that it is added, then verify with a short test.
Rank #2
- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
- Open Streamlabs Mobile’s Main Menu > Streaming Settings > Audio Settings.
- Add an Internal Audio source if it is not already present.
- Start the game or video and make a short test stream or recording.
- Check the resulting stream or VOD to confirm the sound is present.
If you use headphones, repeat the test without them. Streamlabs recommends disconnecting headphones when capturing mobile-game sounds and voice. Its FAQ also notes a limitation involving Android internal-audio capture for alert sounds in the headphone scenario it describes; that note should not be read as a universal claim about every Android device, game, or app version.

If viewers cannot hear your voice
Check the microphone separately from game audio. Streamlabs’ FAQ notes microphone mute and Bluetooth microphone/headphone issues, and says external microphone compatibility depends on phone capabilities.
- Check that Streamlabs’ microphone control is not muted.
- Disconnect Bluetooth accessories temporarily.
- Make a short test using the phone’s built-in microphone.
- If that works, reconnect an accessory and test it separately. If it does not, check the selected input and the microphone controls available in your app version.
An external microphone is not a general fix for missing internal game or video audio; establish first that the problem is voice capture.

If only Streamlabs alert sounds are missing
Alert audio is separate from game audio and microphone input. Check the alert’s configuration and whether it is set to play on the stream. Streamlabs lists these supported sound-file formats in its Mobile Streaming FAQ:
| Platform | Alert sound formats listed by Streamlabs |
|---|---|
| iOS | AAC, MP3, WAV |
| Android | WAV, MP3, AAC, OGG |
Changing the alert file format will not enable the separate Internal Audio source for game sound.

Tell an audio-capture fault from a YouTube go-live fault
If Streamlabs says you are live but YouTube does not show a broadcast, or event creation fails, you may have a go-live or account-eligibility problem rather than silent captured audio. Streamlabs’ September 15, 2026 YouTube mobile setup guide says livestreaming must be enabled on the account, phone verification is required, and first-time setup may take 24 hours.
Separately, Streamlabs’ September 3, 2026 issue notice marks earlier YouTube Mobile go-live problems as resolved after updates. That notice concerns broadcast availability, not audio capture; it does not provide a fix for a silent game or video source.
Quick troubleshooting checklist
- Game/video missing on iPhone or iPad: disconnect headphones, play sound through the phone speakers, keep the microphone clear, and test.
- Game/video missing on Android: check Main Menu > Streaming Settings > Audio Settings for an Internal Audio source, then test.
- Voice missing: check mute and input selection; test with Bluetooth disconnected and the built-in microphone.
- Alerts missing: check alert configuration and use a format Streamlabs lists for your platform.
- YouTube broadcast not appearing: investigate live eligibility, setup, and go-live status separately from audio capture.
