To schedule daily guided meditation sessions, create a separate upcoming live event for each day in YouTube Studio, then start the actual video feed from your encoder when the session is due. YouTube’s Studio instructions document scheduling and reusing settings, but not a daily-repeat switch. You can share each event page ahead of time so viewers can find it and may opt into a reminder.
Before you schedule: check channel eligibility
YouTube says a channel must be verified and have had no live-streaming restrictions in the previous 90 days to stream. The streamer must be at least 16. Check access before announcing a session, since eligibility affects whether you can use the live features.
YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility information has the current requirements. Studio labels and access can change, so consult YouTube Help if your menu differs.
Schedule one event for each day
- In YouTube Studio, choose Create → Go Live to open Live Control Room.
- Choose Manage → Schedule Stream.
- Select Create new or choose Reuse settings from an earlier event.
- Enter the session title and description, scheduled date and time, and visibility. Make the session details specific to that day.
- Save the event, then copy and share its watch-page URL.
YouTube’s encoder scheduling instructions describe how to schedule a stream and reuse settings. Reusing can carry over metadata, settings, and the stream key, so check the copied title, description, visibility, and other details before saving today’s event.

Make the daily time clear
Choose a time that suits the audience you want to reach, and state its time zone wherever you promote it. A daily local time can correspond to a different UTC time when clocks change; viewers in other regions may also see the event at a different local hour.
What viewers can expect
YouTube says scheduling lets you promote a stream. Viewers may receive reminders if they opt in, and scheduled streams may appear as upcoming in subscribers’ feeds. Sharing an event does not guarantee that every subscriber will be notified or that the stream will reach a particular audience.

Does YouTube Studio support a daily repeat schedule?
The Studio scheduling instructions document separate scheduled events and the option to reuse settings; they do not document a daily recurrence control. For an ordinary Studio workflow, schedule a new event for each session and use Reuse settings to reduce repeated setup.
For a custom technical workflow, Google’s API documentation describes creating multiple liveBroadcast resources and binding them to one liveStream. Each broadcast is a separate event, while the stream resource can hold delivery settings reused by the encoder. Start the guided meditation when it is time
Scheduling creates the upcoming event page; it does not send the live video feed. At the session time, your encoder must connect and you must start the event in Live Control Room.
- Open the scheduled event in Live Control Room.
- In your encoder, enter YouTube’s stream URL and the stream key associated with the event. Treat the stream key as private: anyone who has it may be able to send video to your channel.
- Start sending the feed from the encoder.
- Wait for the video preview in Live Control Room and check that the expected picture and sound are present.
- Select Go live in Live Control Room to begin the public session.
The event page can be available before the feed begins. Do not assume that a scheduled event is broadcasting simply because its watch page exists.

Choose a setup that fits the session
YouTube supports several ways to go live, including mobile, webcam, encoder, and console workflows. An encoder is suited to setups that need equipment such as a microphone or camera; a webcam or mobile setup may be enough for a simpler session. Decide whether you need to appear on camera, capture live spoken guidance, or add production elements before choosing a workflow. YouTube’s live-streaming production tips recommend testing your setup and checking the preview and event accessibility.
A USB microphone may help if you are speaking live and need to capture your guidance; it is optional for a silent session or for scheduling itself. A webcam is optional if you want viewers to see you. No particular model is required by the scheduling workflow.

When the meditation is over, end the stream in Live Control Room and stop the encoder feed. YouTube says streams shorter than 12 hours are automatically archived. You can manage past, current, and upcoming streams in the Studio Live area.
Common scheduling and broadcast problems
- You cannot find Go Live or schedule an event: Check that the channel is verified, meets YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility requirements, and has no live restriction in the previous 90 days. If access should be available but the menu is different, consult current YouTube Help.
- The event page exists, but no video is playing: The scheduled event alone does not transmit a feed. Start the encoder, confirm it is sending to the correct stream URL and key, wait for the preview, and select Go live.
- The preview does not appear: Check that the encoder is running and using the intended event’s stream URL and key. Confirm the outgoing feed in the encoder, then allow time for Live Control Room to show the preview.
- The wrong session details appear: If you used Reuse settings, review the title, description, visibility, scheduled time, and other copied details before saving or sharing the event.
- Viewers have the wrong start time: Include the time zone in announcements and check the event’s scheduled time, especially around local clock changes.
