StreamVoodoo can connect remote bhajan singers and other audio or video sources to a production setup, but its documented role is not unattended 24/7 playlist playback. To keep a YouTube bhajan stream running continuously, you also need a durable source, an encoder connected to YouTube Live, monitoring and a plan for interruptions and archives. This guide shows how those pieces fit together—and when a cloud service may be a better fit.
What StreamVoodoo does—and what it does not establish
StreamVoodoo describes browser-based rooms for connecting HD video feeds and studio-quality audio. Its FAQ says those feeds can be sent to production tools such as OBS or vMix, and that a Magic Link can be used as a browser source. That makes it useful when singers, musicians or other contributors are in different locations. StreamVoodoo’s FAQ does not document a host-free, continuously looping playlist function.
A practical signal path is: rights-cleared bhajan audio and video or live performers → StreamVoodoo when remote contributions are needed → OBS, vMix or another production system → YouTube Live. The production system assembles the program; the encoder sends it to YouTube. Continuous operation depends on the source and production system continuing to run, plus someone or a tested procedure to respond to failures.
Prepare the channel, content and source
Check live-stream access early
In YouTube Studio, create or schedule the live stream and check that the channel can broadcast. YouTube says enabling live streaming for the first time may take up to 24 hours, so do not leave activation until the day of the event. Check for existing restrictions or strikes before scheduling. See YouTube’s encoder setup instructions and guidance on live-stream restrictions.

- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
Clear rights for the actual music and recordings
Confirm that you have the rights needed for both the compositions and the specific recordings in your program. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches. If it detects material that remains in the stream, it may replace the image, interrupt or terminate the broadcast. A license does not necessarily prevent an automated interruption: YouTube says the rights holder may need to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. Resolve this with the rights holder before going live. YouTube’s copyright guidance for live streams explains the matching and allowlisting process.
Choose a source that can actually run continuously
Decide whether the program is a live devotional session, a playlist of recordings, or a mix. StreamVoodoo can bring remote contributors into a production workflow; it should not be treated as proof that a playlist will play unattended around the clock. Its FAQ says a room lasts one week after the host leaves, which is not the same as documented 24/7 automated playout. Build and test the source, encoder and restart procedure separately.

Connect StreamVoodoo and YouTube Live
- Set up the contribution room. Use StreamVoodoo’s browser workflow to connect remote audio or video contributors. If the production needs those feeds, bring them into OBS, vMix or another supported production setup. StreamVoodoo describes its integrations and room workflow in its FAQ; its music product page also describes musician-oriented recording and streaming, including 1080p feeds and OBS integration.
- Create or schedule the broadcast in YouTube Studio. Open the channel’s live control workflow, create or schedule the event, and retrieve the encoder server URL and stream key. Keep the stream key private; anyone who obtains it may be able to send a signal to your broadcast.
- Configure the encoder. In OBS, vMix or your chosen encoder, select the YouTube service or enter YouTube’s server URL, then paste the stream key. Configure the audio and video output to match the production source and your available upload connection. YouTube’s encoder instructions cover connecting an encoder; the settings you can use depend on the chosen encoder and source.
- Use a wired connection where practical. StreamVoodoo says Ethernet is required for its highest-described video settings. The FAQ does not specify a cable category or length, so choose a suitable Ethernet cable for the venue rather than assuming a particular standard. Keep the network equipment and production computer powered for the entire session.
- Test before the public broadcast. Start the encoder, check YouTube’s preview and verify that both picture and bhajan audio are present at the expected levels. Confirm that remote feeds are arriving and that the intended source continues when a contributor disconnects. Go live only after the preview is correct.
- Monitor the Live Control Room. Keep a person or a tested operational procedure ready to respond to a lost source, encoder failure or copyright warning. This is an operational need, not a claimed StreamVoodoo monitoring feature.
Plan rotations and archives for a 24/7 schedule
YouTube’s automatic archive guidance applies to streams under 12 hours. Do not assume that a single uninterrupted 24-hour broadcast will be automatically archived in full. If preserving the complete program matters, plan session rotations under that threshold and verify the resulting archives, or make a separate local recording. YouTube’s page does not establish that a particular rotation scheme will preserve every moment, so test the schedule and recording workflow before relying on it. YouTube’s encoder and archive guidance describes the threshold.
Rotation also creates a brief operational handoff: someone must start the next scheduled session, confirm its preview, and ensure the previous recording or local capture has completed. Decide who owns that handoff and what to do if the encoder or venue connection fails.

Restrictions and audience settings to check
- Copyright matching: A match can interrupt or end the stream; active copyright strikes can also stop it. Get the necessary rights and any Content ID allowlisting arranged ahead of time. YouTube’s live copyright page.
- Live-stream eligibility: Copyright strikes and matching copyrighted live broadcasts are among reasons YouTube may restrict live-stream access. Check channel status before the planned broadcast. YouTube’s restriction guidance.
- Made for kids: If the channel or stream is marked “made for kids,” features including live chat and personalized ads may be restricted or disabled. Account for that when planning audience interaction. YouTube’s restriction guidance.
Troubleshooting common failures
| Symptom | Likely cause | What to check or do |
|---|---|---|
| You cannot start a live broadcast | Live streaming may not yet be enabled, or the channel may have a restriction. | Enable the feature ahead of time—YouTube says first-time activation may take up to 24 hours—and check channel status and restrictions in YouTube Studio. |
| YouTube receives no encoder signal | The encoder may have the wrong server URL or stream key, or may not be running. | Compare the encoder’s connection details with the current YouTube event, confirm the encoder is started, and keep the stream key private. |
| Preview has no bhajan audio or remote contributor | The production mix may not include the expected source, or the StreamVoodoo feed may have disconnected. | Check the feed in the production tool, verify the audio routing and levels, and confirm the YouTube preview before going live. |
| Broadcast is interrupted after music begins | YouTube may have matched third-party content or the channel may have a rights-related restriction. | Review YouTube’s live warning, stop or replace disputed material as appropriate, and contact the rights holder about licensing and Content ID allowlisting. Do not assume a license automatically suppresses a match. |
| A 24-hour program is missing from the archive or incomplete | YouTube’s automatic archive guidance is for streams under 12 hours. | Use planned session rotations and/or a separate local recording, then test that the archive and local capture contain the material you need. |
When a local setup or cloud playout makes sense
A local encoder gives the temple or production team direct control over the source and mix, but the venue’s computer, power and internet connection must remain available, and someone must handle recovery. A cloud service can remove the need to keep a home or venue computer on, but evaluate how the provider handles continuous playback, recovery, costs and service terms. These are practical decision criteria, not a benchmark of particular vendors.
For a pre-recorded YouTube bhajan stream that should continue without a computer running at the venue, StreamNeo is an alternative to a locally maintained encoder: it keeps an uploaded recording or playlist streaming from the cloud, with automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. It is YouTube-only and plays uploaded videos rather than broadcasting a camera feed.
