Livepush says you can swap, reorder, or add videos to an active playlist without interrupting its YouTube broadcast. To prepare a replacement, open the relevant Pre-recorded Live stream in the Livepush dashboard; if needed, upload or import the new video and attach it with Add to Playlist. Livepush’s public instructions do not document the precise control for replacing a particular existing item or when a change to the currently playing item takes effect, so verify the dashboard preview and YouTube output after editing.
Prepare the replacement video

Open the relevant Pre-recorded Live stream in the Livepush dashboard. The public help article describes adding a video from this stream dashboard, but not the specific replacement control. Livepush’s guide to adding a video to a playlist.

If the replacement is not already available in the stream’s video list, select Add Video. Livepush says you can upload a video or import it from Google Drive, Dropbox, or a downloadable web URL. Available import methods may depend on the current dashboard.

Select the video and choose Add to Playlist to attach it to the pre-recorded stream.

Change the playlist while the stream is live
Livepush’s FAQ says an active playlist can be changed during a broadcast: videos can be swapped, reordered, or added without interrupting the stream. Open the active stream’s playlist controls and inspect the options available in your dashboard; the public instructions reviewed do not specify the exact button or removal sequence for replacing a particular item. After making the change, check the dashboard preview and the live YouTube output. Livepush’s public help material does not say whether replacing the item currently on air cuts over immediately or waits for a later transition. Do not assume the change has taken effect until you have verified what viewers see.

Check plan access and the stream type
Livepush describes pre-recorded broadcasts as cloud-run and lists YouTube as a destination. Its FAQ indicates that plan access can matter for multi-video streaming and on-air schedule editing, but the sources do not establish which current plan includes this particular replacement operation. Looping is separate from replacing a playlist item
You do not need to turn on looping just to edit a playlist. Livepush’s January 25, 2025 guide treats continuous playback as a separate setting: open the Pre-recorded Live dashboard, turn on Loop Video, then go live or choose Schedule For Later. The guide says looping continues until you manually stop the stream. Use this setting when you want the playlist to repeat, not as a replacement step. Livepush’s looping guide.

If the replacement does not appear

The video is not in the playlist: add or import it first, select it, and use Add to Playlist.

You cannot find an edit option: confirm that you opened the active Pre-recorded Live stream and check whether your current plan includes on-air playlist editing. The exact interface and plan eligibility are not established by the public instructions cited above.

The current video keeps playing: the documented material does not establish when a change to the on-air item takes effect. Check the preview and YouTube output for the transition; contact Livepush support if the result is unclear.

You expected the playlist to repeat: check Loop Video separately. Looping controls continuous playback, not whether an existing playlist item can be replaced.
