To run Free Fire gameplay VODs around the clock on YouTube, use an encoder-based live stream: enable live streaming on your channel, create a stream in YouTube Studio, enter its stream key in an encoder that can loop your videos, and keep the encoder running. YouTube documents the stream-and-key setup, but not a specific VOD-looping app or an official method for looping prerecorded videos. You are responsible for rights to the footage and audio, and neither continuous playback nor owning your gameplay guarantees monetization.
What you need before setting up a 24/7 stream
- A YouTube channel eligible to livestream. YouTube says the channel must be verified, have no livestream restrictions during the preceding 90 days, and the livestreamer must be at least 16. Check the current requirements at YouTube’s livestream prerequisites.
- A computer capable of running an encoder continuously, if you choose the do-it-yourself computer method. YouTube does not prescribe a computer model or minimum specification in its guidance. A suitable computer you already own may be enough; consider sustained reliability, encoding capability, power use, and budget before buying equipment.
- Gameplay recordings and audio you have the necessary rights to use on YouTube. A game soundtrack, menu music, or another player’s footage is not automatically cleared for your stream just because it appears in a game or recording.
- An encoder that supports continuous playback or looping of prerecorded video. YouTube’s official guidance covers encoder setup, not the choice or configuration of a particular looping application; check your encoder’s own documentation for its playback controls.
For India-facing game context, Garena’s India-region site presents Free Fire and Free Fire MAX. The India Google Play listing for Free Fire MAX names Garena International I and describes Android and Intel-powered Windows availability. Availability can depend on your region, device, and account, so confirm the listing applicable to you: Garena India-region game site and Free Fire MAX on Google Play India.
Set up the YouTube encoder stream
- Confirm livestream access. Verify the channel and check for any current livestream restrictions before preparing a continuous schedule. YouTube’s eligibility criteria are at Livestream prerequisites.
- Create or select a stream in YouTube Studio. Use YouTube’s live-control workflow to create or reuse a stream and locate its stream key. Keep the key private: anyone who obtains it may be able to send video to the stream.
- Configure the encoder. Select the YouTube service or destination in the encoder and enter the stream key. Follow the encoder’s own instructions for selecting the prerecorded files and enabling repeat playback. YouTube describes computer software encoding as a supported streaming route and documents stream settings at YouTube stream settings and computer streaming tips.
- Check the preview before going live. Confirm the intended video and audio are present in the YouTube live control room, and that the encoder is sending to the correct stream. Test your loop and transitions before leaving it unattended.
- Start the encoder and monitor the live control room. A computer-based setup depends on the machine, encoder, power, and internet connection remaining available. If any of them stops, the stream can stop too. Check the stream after launch and periodically thereafter.
Rights, copyright, and monetization
Clear the footage and every audio layer
YouTube’s livestream terms make the provider responsible for having the rights needed to use live content on Google’s services worldwide, including music rights, and require compliance with applicable laws. Use gameplay VODs and audio for which you can establish those rights. Do not assume that game audio, menu music, licensed tracks, or footage from another player is cleared merely because it is part of a game or recording. Read YouTube’s livestream terms.
Know what can happen during and after a stream
YouTube scans livestreams for third-party content. If it detects such content, it may display a placeholder and warn the streamer; if the content remains, YouTube may interrupt or terminate the stream. An archived livestream can also receive a Content ID claim after it ends. See YouTube’s copyright guidance for livestreams.

Do not treat repeated playback as a monetization shortcut
YouTube’s monetization policies apply to livestreams. Its reused-content policy can affect material republished without significant original commentary, substantive modification, or educational or entertainment value. It is separate from copyright enforcement and can apply even when a creator has permission. YouTube reviews the channel as a whole and may remove monetization if it cannot tell that the creator made or meaningfully transformed the content. A loop of gameplay VODs is therefore not guaranteed to be monetized; footage ownership alone does not settle the question. See YouTube’s monetization policy.
Troubleshoot common setup problems
- You cannot start a livestream: check channel verification, any restrictions in the previous 90 days, and the age requirement before debugging the encoder.
- YouTube receives no video: confirm the encoder is active, the stream key matches the selected YouTube stream, and the encoder is sending to the intended destination.
- The stream starts but does not repeat the VOD: inspect the encoder’s playlist or playback-loop settings. YouTube’s setup guidance does not specify how a third-party encoder loops files.
- The stream shows a placeholder or is interrupted: check YouTube’s live copyright warning and review all footage and audio for third-party material; detection can lead to interruption or termination.
- The archive receives a claim after the stream: review the claimed segment and the rights for that content. YouTube says archived livestreams can receive Content ID claims after the broadcast has ended.
- The computer-based stream stops unexpectedly: check whether the computer, encoder, power, or internet connection remained active. A local encoder depends on those components throughout the broadcast.
Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a cloud service for keeping a YouTube channel live from uploaded videos, without leaving a computer or home connection running. Upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. It loops the uploaded video in the cloud and can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. It does not stream from a camera.
