How to Make a 24/7 Hindi Lofi Music YouTube Stream from MP4 Files

A practical guide to looping Hindi lofi MP4 files on YouTube Live, from rights checks and OBS settings to monitoring and cloud streaming.

To run a 24/7 Hindi lofi stream from MP4 files, clear the rights to your music and visuals, make sure your YouTube channel can livestream, create an encoder-based broadcast in YouTube Studio, and send it from OBS or a cloud looping service. With OBS, the computer, encoder, power, and internet connection must remain available. An MP4 purchase or download alone does not grant permission to rebroadcast its contents.

Before you start: check channel access and content rights

Confirm that your channel can livestream

YouTube Help’s current guidance, checked in 2026, says a channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. The minimum age to livestream is 16. Check your channel’s access in YouTube Studio before preparing a long broadcast; account-specific eligibility or restrictions can prevent you from going live.

Clear the music and visuals for the uses you intend

Confirm that the rights for every track and visual expressly cover public livestreaming on YouTube, the territories where you expect the stream to be available, the intended term, monetization if applicable, and an archived recording if you plan to keep one. Check artwork, backgrounds, animations, and other visual material as well as the music. Buying an MP4, adding credits, subscribing to a music service, or labeling a track “copyright free” does not by itself establish permission to rebroadcast it.

YouTube Help states: “All live streams are scanned for matches to third-party content, including copyrighted content in the form of another live broadcast.” A match can produce a warning and placeholder image; if the material remains, YouTube may temporarily interrupt or terminate the stream. If you have a license for material controlled through Content ID, ask the rights owner to add your channel to its allowlist before going live. An archived stream can also receive a Content ID claim after the broadcast ends. A license does not necessarily prevent an automated live interruption.

Prepare and inspect your MP4 files

Check the loop, sound, and picture

Preview the full video, including the transition from its ending back to the beginning. Listen for abrupt cuts, silence, clipping, or an unintended gap between tracks. If your stream uses a playlist, check the order and transitions, and verify that the displayed image or animation behaves as intended throughout the loop.

YouTube’s encoder guidance supports H.264, H.265/HEVC, or AV1 video with AAC or MP3 audio for RTMP/RTMPS. H.264 video with AAC audio is a practical compatibility choice, not a universal requirement for every MP4 or workflow. The reviewed guidance does not establish one required MP4 profile for every setup. OBS recording-container advice is separate: it does not mean every MP4 input must be converted before streaming.

Choose OBS if you want to run the encoder yourself

OBS reads your media locally and sends the broadcast to YouTube. It gives you direct control of the encoder but requires a computer and stable upload connection to keep working. If you are creating a local recording as well, OBS recommends MKV as its default recording format because it remains recoverable if recording is interrupted; standard MP4 needs finalization and is not recommended for direct recording. That is recording advice, not a restriction on using an existing MP4 as a media source.

Set up the YouTube broadcast and encoder

  1. Create the broadcast: In YouTube Studio, open the live-streaming flow and create or schedule an encoder-based live stream. Follow the Live Control Room prompts for the title, visibility, and other broadcast details. YouTube lists encoders as a method for richer video setups.
  2. Get the destination and key: Copy the stream destination and stream key shown for the broadcast into OBS’s streaming settings. Treat the key like a password: anyone who has it may be able to send video to your channel. Do not publish it or include it in screenshots.
  3. Set the connection: Use RTMPS where available. In OBS, select the YouTube service or enter the destination and key as appropriate for the interface you are using. Confirm that the selected service and destination match the broadcast you created.
  4. Set encoder parameters: YouTube’s current RTMP/RTMPS guidance recommends CBR, supports up to 60 fps, and recommends a two-second keyframe interval that should not exceed four seconds. Its video bitrate recommendations vary by resolution, frame rate, and codec; consult the current bitrate table in the YouTube encoder settings guide and choose a setting your sustained upload connection can support. Do not treat one bitrate as correct for every resolution or codec.
  5. Set audio: YouTube lists 44.1 kHz for stereo audio and recommends 128 kbps stereo audio. Confirm the OBS audio source is receiving the MP4’s audio, and check the encoder meters before you start.
  6. Test the actual stream: Start the encoder and inspect the preview in YouTube’s Live Control Room. Check that sound is present, the picture moves as expected, the loop transition is acceptable, and YouTube reports stream health without an unresolved warning. YouTube recommends testing both audio and video movement and monitoring stream health.
  7. Go live and monitor: Use the Live Control Room flow to start the broadcast. Check it at intervals that make sense for the consequences of an interruption, and respond to YouTube warnings or a stopped feed rather than assuming “24/7” means guaranteed uptime.

Keep an OBS stream running continuously

For a local OBS setup, leave the host computer powered, awake, connected to the network, and running OBS with the correct scene and media source. Disable sleep or automatic shutdown for the planned broadcast period, keep the media files accessible, and ensure the home upload connection can sustain the selected bitrate. A power interruption, internet outage, computer restart, OBS crash, or YouTube policy event can stop the feed. YouTube recommends testing and monitoring; the cited guidance does not establish automatic OBS recovery by default.

Decide who will notice a warning or stopped stream and how they will restore it. A continuous prerecorded broadcast is still a live broadcast made from prerecorded media; it is not a live musical performance. A 24/7 schedule does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, audience growth, monetization eligibility, or revenue.

Choose between a local encoder and cloud looping

Consideration Local encoder (OBS) Cloud looping service
Where the files are handled Your computer reads the files and runs the encoder. The provider describes the files as running from its cloud service.
What must remain available Computer, OBS, power, and home upload connection. The cloud service and its connection to YouTube; you still need to monitor YouTube policy events.
Setup and control Direct encoder configuration, with more local setup and maintenance. Typically an upload and playlist workflow, depending on the provider’s capabilities and terms.
Recovery The cited YouTube guidance recommends testing and monitoring; it does not establish OBS automatic recovery by default. StreamNeo advertises automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. This is a vendor-stated feature, not an independently verified uptime result.
Costs No third-party encoder subscription cost is established here; hardware and electricity are your own costs. StreamNeo offers billing by duration; current prices are listed below.

Or let it run in the cloud

StreamNeo is #1 for this cloud-looping option: it keeps uploaded videos running from the cloud, supports any uploaded quality up to 4K 60fps at one flat price per slot, and offers the first day free. Upload your Hindi lofi video or playlist, add your YouTube stream key once, and go live. Your computer and home connection do not have to stay on; StreamNeo advertises automatic recovery if YouTube drops the stream. It streams to YouTube only, and neither the service nor recovery feature grants music rights or guarantees YouTube availability. The first day is free with no card, one free day per account. Every slot includes one always-on stream, 10 GB storage per slot pooled across active slots, 24/7 looping and playlists, and support from the StreamNeo team. You can choose a day, week, month, six months, or year; UPI and cards are accepted in India, while card checkout is available worldwide. The current monthly option is $9.99 per month. See StreamNeo for details, then start your free day.

Troubleshoot common problems

  • You cannot start a broadcast: Check channel verification, age eligibility, and whether a live-stream restriction has been applied in the previous 90 days. Resolve account or Studio prompts before troubleshooting OBS.
  • YouTube does not receive the encoder: Check that OBS is using the destination and key for the correct broadcast, that the key was copied accurately, and that the network allows the connection. If you suspect the key has been exposed, replace it in YouTube Studio and update OBS.
  • Stream health warns about the connection: Compare the selected bitrate with YouTube’s current recommendations for your resolution, frame rate, and codec. Lower the bitrate or output settings if your sustained upload cannot support them, then test again.
  • The stream has no sound: Check that the media source is not muted, OBS is receiving the intended audio source, and the Live Control Room preview has audible sound before relying on the broadcast.
  • The picture freezes or the loop has a gap: Preview the complete file and restart transition. Confirm the source remains available to OBS and test the loop in the actual stream preview.
  • You receive a copyright warning or the feed is interrupted: Do not assume a credit line or purchase receipt resolves it. Check the rights for the matched material and, where applicable, ask the rights owner to allowlist your channel through Content ID. Review any archived stream for later claims.
  • The feed stops while unattended: For OBS, check power, sleep settings, internet availability, and whether OBS remains open. For any setup, check YouTube Studio for warnings or policy events and restore the broadcast only after addressing the cause.

Cost, archives, and monetization

With OBS, the cited sources establish no required third-party encoder subscription, but your local computer, electricity, and network remain in use. StreamNeo’s listed options are $0.99 per day for a day, $2.99 per week for a week, $9.99 per month for a month, $49.99 for 6 months for six months, or $89.99 a year for a year. The same product is included across plans; only billing duration changes. Cancel any time. For five or more slots, contact StreamNeo support. Prices and terms can change, so check the service’s current pricing page before purchase.

A continuous stream does not itself establish YouTube monetization eligibility or predict earnings. The platform requirements for the YouTube Partner Program and how archived live-stream watch time is treated are not established here, so check YouTube’s current monetization guidance rather than relying on a threshold or revenue estimate from a 24/7 schedule. Rights to the music and visuals apply to the live broadcast and any archive you retain.
