YouTube can schedule the live event, but it does not play or rotate replay files for you. To run a Hindi esports replay as a live stream, create a scheduled event in YouTube Studio, connect an encoder or cloud workflow that supplies the video, test the rotation, and start the feed at showtime. You need permission to rebroadcast every part of the footage.
What scheduling does—and what it does not do
In YouTube Studio, a scheduled stream creates an event page that you can share and promote; viewers may also set reminders. The scheduled event does not supply prerecorded video. An encoder must connect to YouTube and send the replay feed.
YouTube’s cited scheduling instructions do not describe a built-in control for rotating a playlist of replay videos. Choose an encoder or separate workflow that can play your files in the intended order or loop them, and verify that behavior in a private or unlisted test. Scheduling multiple events does not, by itself, create a continuous replay playlist.
Schedule and run the rotation
- Enable live streaming. Confirm that live streaming is enabled for the channel. YouTube says first-time activation can take up to 24 hours, so do not leave activation until just before the planned broadcast.
- Create the event. In YouTube Studio, go to Create → Go live → Manage → Schedule stream. Reuse settings or create a new event. Add a title and other metadata appropriate to the Hindi-speaking audience, choose visibility, and share the scheduled URL if you want to promote the event.
- Choose the video-feed workflow. Use an encoder that can play the replay files in the required sequence and keep sending the feed. YouTube recognizes both software encoders and dedicated hardware encoders; hardware is optional. Its documented workflow can bind multiple scheduled broadcasts to one stream, but it does not select the next local replay file for you. - Connect the encoder. Copy the event’s stream URL and stream key into the encoder. Treat the key like a password: it identifies where the feed is sent and lets YouTube accept it. Do not show it in public screenshots, overlays, or recordings.
- Test the full rotation. Before announcing it, check the exact files, playback order, transitions, audio levels, video, and network. YouTube recommends testing before going live and monitoring the preview and stream health. Check upload capacity against the settings you plan to use.
- Start at the scheduled time. Start sending the feed from the encoder, then check the Live Control Room preview before going live. If you expect automatic start or stop, verify that those settings are enabled for this stream rather than assuming they are.
- Plan the archive. YouTube says streams under 12 hours are automatically archived. Its cited help instructions do not promise automatic archiving for sessions longer than 12 hours. If the archive matters, use shorter sessions or check YouTube’s current guidance for your planned duration.
Encoder settings and reliability
YouTube recommends RTMPS for live ingestion. Its published encoder settings include a recommendation of 6 Mbps minimum and 17 Mbps recommended for H.264 at 1080p and 60 fps. These are YouTube ingest recommendations, not a guarantee that a particular connection or encode will remain stable. Test the actual feed and use settings your upload connection can sustain.

YouTube supports encoder software and dedicated hardware. Its guidance recommends professional-grade hardware encoders for higher-production-value events, but a hardware encoder is not required just to schedule a replay stream. Compare software, hardware, and hosted workflows based on unattended operation, file handling, reliability, setup effort, and budget. Verify that whichever workflow you choose can play the files in order and recover as you need; YouTube’s event scheduling alone does not provide those functions.
Do you have rights to rebroadcast the footage?
A replay being available online does not mean you can rebroadcast it. A stream may combine game footage, a tournament feed, caster commentary, music, graphics, player interviews, and sponsor elements, each with different rights owners. Obtain permission for the specific material and territories where you will stream, and check the publisher’s and tournament organizer’s rules.

YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. It may replace the stream with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate it. Even licensed third-party live content may require the rights owner to add your channel to its Content ID allowlist. An archived live stream may also receive a Content ID claim after it ends.
