FFmpeg से YouTube Live पर पहले से रिकॉर्ड किए गए वीडियो को लगातार चलाने के लिए, इनपुट के साथ -stream_loop -1 लगाएँ और FFmpeg को YouTube Live Control Room के सर्वर URL तथा stream key पर भेजें। कई वीडियो की प्लेलिस्ट के लिए उन्हें एक उपयुक्त concat या playlist इनपुट में जोड़ना होगा—एक फ़ाइल को loop करना अपने-आप कई फ़ाइलों की प्लेलिस्ट नहीं बनाता। यह तरीका तभी चलता रहेगा जब FFmpeg चलाने वाला कंप्यूटर, बिजली और इंटरनेट भी चालू रहें।
शुरू करने से पहले क्या चाहिए
- YouTube चैनल जिस पर लाइव स्ट्रीमिंग सक्षम हो।
- FFmpeg इंस्टॉल किया हुआ कंप्यूटर या सर्वर, और वह वीडियो फ़ाइल या प्लेलिस्ट इनपुट जिसे FFmpeg पढ़ सके।
- लाइव प्रसारण के लिए स्थिर अपलोड कनेक्शन। आवश्यक गति चुनी गई वीडियो सेटिंग पर निर्भर करती है; YouTube कोई एक सार्वभौमिक अपलोड-स्पीड गारंटी नहीं देता।
- YouTube Live Control Room से मिलने वाला सर्वर URL और stream key। Stream key को पासवर्ड की तरह गोपनीय रखें।
किसी खास कंप्यूटर मॉडल, capture card या अलग encoder की जरूरत नहीं है। आवश्यकताएँ आपकी मीडिया फ़ाइल, FFmpeg build और चुनी हुई स्ट्रीम सेटिंग पर निर्भर करेंगी।
YouTube से server URL और stream key लें
- YouTube Studio खोलें और Create → Go Live चुनें।
- Live Control Room में कोई मौजूदा स्ट्रीम चुनें या नई स्ट्रीम बनाएं।
- दिखाया गया server URL और stream key कॉपी करें। इन्हें सार्वजनिक स्क्रीनशॉट, साझा स्क्रिप्ट या खुले repository में न रखें।
YouTube के मॉडल में liveStream वह ingest कॉन्फ़िगरेशन है जो वीडियो और ऑडियो YouTube तक पहुँचाता है; liveBroadcast वह प्रसारण/event है जिसे दर्शक देखते हैं। Google की API मिसाल में 24/7 feed के साथ अलग interview broadcast चल सकता है: interview broadcast पूरा होने पर निरंतर feed वाला stream बंद करना जरूरी नहीं होता। Google YouTube Live Streaming API documentation (अंतिम अपडेट 2026-09-14 UTC) में इन संसाधनों का अंतर बताया गया है।
एक वीडियो को अनिश्चित समय तक loop करें
FFmpeg का -stream_loop इनपुट विकल्प है; -1 का अर्थ है कि इनपुट अनंत बार दोहराया जाए। इसे उस मीडिया इनपुट के -i से पहले रखें। नीचे का command ढाँचा शुरुआत के लिए है, सार्वभौमिक तैयार command नहीं:

ffmpeg -stream_loop -1 -i input.mp4 [encoding and pacing options] -f flv "rtmps://SERVER_URL/STREAM_KEY"input.mp4 को अपनी फ़ाइल के पथ से बदलें। YouTube Live Control Room में दिए server URL और stream key को अंतिम पते में सुरक्षित रूप से रखें। उदाहरण के bracket वाले encoding विकल्पों को ज्यों का त्यों न चलाएँ—उन्हें अपनी फ़ाइल, FFmpeg build और YouTube की चुनी हुई codec/resolution सिफारिशों के मुताबिक भरना होगा।
FFmpeg Project के अनुसार -stream_loop input option है और -1 infinite looping दर्शाता है। इसलिए इसे -i के बाद रखने से अपेक्षित व्यवहार नहीं मिलेगा। FFmpeg documentation देखें।
कई वीडियो की प्लेलिस्ट को loop करें
एक फ़ाइल पर -stream_loop -1 लगाने से केवल वही फ़ाइल दोहरती है। कई फ़ाइलों को क्रम में चलाने के लिए पहले ऐसा concat या playlist input तैयार करें जिसे आपका FFmpeg build पढ़ सके, फिर उस संयुक्त इनपुट को loop करने का तरीका चुनें। फ़ाइलों के codec, resolution, frame rate और audio format अलग हों तो जोड़ने या संक्रमण पर समस्या आ सकती है। उपलब्ध आधिकारिक मार्गदर्शन हर playlist format के लिए एक ही command निर्धारित नहीं करता; अपने FFmpeg version के अनुरूप concat demuxer या अन्य समर्थित playlist workflow चुनें और शुरुआत से अंत तक संक्रमण जाँचें।

- सभी स्रोत फ़ाइलों को जाँचें और playlist का इच्छित क्रम तय करें।
- अपने चुने हुए concat/playlist तरीके के लिए FFmpeg की version-specific syntax अपनाएँ।
- पहले निजी या परीक्षण प्रसारण पर पूरी playlist चलाएँ; खास तौर पर आखिरी फ़ाइल से पहली फ़ाइल पर लौटने का बिंदु देखें।
- लाइव जाने से पहले सुनिश्चित करें कि playlist में सभी फ़ाइलें और उनके पथ उपलब्ध हैं।
वीडियो, ऑडियो और ingest सेटिंग चुनें
YouTube Help की 2026 में देखी गई encoder guidance (पृष्ठ पर प्रकाशन वर्ष नहीं दिया गया) के अनुसार H.264 के लिए कुछ उपयोगी मान ये हैं। ये YouTube की सिफारिशें हैं, स्वतंत्र performance परीक्षण नहीं। अन्य frame rates और codecs के लिए YouTube की संबंधित bitrate range देखें।

YouTube RTMP/RTMPS पर H.264, H.265/HEVC और AV1 का समर्थन बताता है। Codec चुनने से पहले यह जाँचें कि आपका FFmpeg build और encoder उसे उपलब्ध कराते हैं और YouTube की उसी codec तथा resolution वाली bitrate guidance लागू करें। YouTube Help: encoder settings में मौजूदा ingest recommendations देखें।
720p30 और 1080p30 में चुनाव करते समय स्रोत वीडियो की वास्तविक गुणवत्ता और अपलोड कनेक्शन की क्षमता ध्यान में रखें। चुने हुए bitrate से ऊपर कुछ अतिरिक्त upload क्षमता रहने दें, ताकि गति में उतार-चढ़ाव से स्ट्रीम तुरंत प्रभावित न हो।

लाइव जाने से पहले परीक्षण करें
- एक representative क्लिप चलाएँ जिसमें सामान्य गति, शांत और तेज़ audio, तथा playlist हो तो फ़ाइलों के बीच संक्रमण शामिल हों।
- FFmpeg output में connection या encoding errors देखें और सत्यापित करें कि stream key तथा server URL सही हैं।
- Live Control Room में preview, stream health और संदेश जाँचें। Resolution, frame rate, bitrate, codec और audio सुनने/देखने में ठीक हों तभी सार्वजनिक प्रसारण शुरू करें।
- परीक्षण में वही computer/network और settings इस्तेमाल करें जो वास्तविक प्रसारण में हों।
फ़ाइल का loop और 24/7 उपलब्धता अलग बातें हैं
-stream_loop -1 फ़ाइल को दोहराता है; यह FFmpeg प्रक्रिया, host कंप्यूटर, बिजली या इंटरनेट को चालू रखने की गारंटी नहीं देता। इनमें से कोई भी रुक जाए तो प्रसारण भी प्रभावित हो सकता है। स्थानीय setup में प्रक्रिया की निगरानी और crash के बाद restart की व्यवस्था ऑपरेटर को करनी होती है; YouTube या FFmpeg की आधिकारिक सामग्री स्थानीय प्रक्रिया के लिए 24/7 uptime का वादा नहीं करती।
लंबे broadcast का archive भी अलग से सोचें। YouTube Help कहता है कि 12 घंटे से कम की streams अपने-आप archive होती हैं। 12 घंटे से लंबी stream के लिए उपलब्ध guidance एक ही पूरा replay बनने की गारंटी नहीं देती। यदि replay जरूरी है, तो archive व्यवहार पर निर्भर रहने से पहले छोटा परीक्षण करें। YouTube Help: live stream archives देखें।

- वीडियो loop नहीं हो रहा: जाँचें कि
-stream_loop -1उसी input के-iसे पहले है। एक फ़ाइल वाला loop कई फ़ाइलों की playlist नहीं बनाता। - YouTube को ingest नहीं मिल रहा: Live Control Room से server URL और stream key फिर कॉपी करें; key में अतिरिक्त रिक्त स्थान या पुरानी key न हो। RTMPS पते का इस्तेमाल करें और FFmpeg के connection error देखें।
- Stream health खराब है या buffering दिखती है: वास्तविक upload क्षमता जाँचें, चुने bitrate के लिए headroom रखें, और representative motion पर कम resolution/bitrate के साथ पुनः परीक्षण करें।
- फ़ाइलों के जोड़ पर रुकावट या त्रुटि: playlist के सभी path और FFmpeg के concat/playlist format की जाँच करें। अलग-अलग media properties वाले स्रोतों के संक्रमण को अलग से test करें।
- प्रसारण कुछ समय बाद बंद हो जाता है: FFmpeg process, host power और network logs देखें। सही loop option अकेले इनमें विफलता से उबरता नहीं; निगरानी तथा restart व्यवस्था अलग से चाहिए।
- वीडियो चल रहा है, पर audio नहीं: input में audio stream मौजूद है या नहीं और चुना हुआ audio codec/bitrate YouTube settings से मेल खाता है या नहीं जाँचें।
कॉपीराइट और YouTube नियम
सिर्फ इसलिए कि वीडियो आपका है या आपके पास फ़ाइल है, यह जरूरी नहीं कि उसके सभी दृश्य, संगीत, आवाज़ और अन्य सामग्री को लगातार YouTube Live पर प्रसारित करने के अधिकार भी आपके पास हों। केवल वही सामग्री चलाएँ जिसके लिए आपके पास आवश्यक अधिकार या अनुमति है। YouTube की copyright और monetization नीतियाँ लागू होती हैं; बार-बार या बिना पर्याप्त मौलिक मूल्य के पुनःप्रसारित सामग्री से जुड़ी monetization पात्रता को अलग प्रश्न मानें और अपने चैनल पर लागू वर्तमान नियम पढ़ें।
