To create a playlist for a Hindi study channel on desktop, open YouTube Studio, select CREATE > New playlist, add a clear title and description, choose visibility and video arrangement, select ADD VIDEOS, then choose the lessons and click CREATE. Arrange the lessons in the order learners should follow them.
Create the playlist in YouTube Studio
- Sign in to YouTube Studio on a computer.
- Select CREATE > New playlist.
- Enter a title and description. YouTube Help documents a maximum of 150 characters for titles and 5,000 characters for descriptions. Titles cannot contain
<,>, or the line separator U+2028. - Choose the playlist’s visibility and video arrangement.
- Select ADD VIDEOS, add the relevant lessons, then click CREATE.

Choose a title and description learners can use
Build each playlist around one learner task: a subject, exam, class or level, or a course sequence. A practical naming pattern is विषय | कक्षा/स्तर | पाठ्यक्रम, or a bilingual version that suits your audience. For example, a playlist might be titled “इतिहास | कक्षा 10 | आधुनिक भारत” or “Hindi Grammar | Beginner Course.” These are editorial suggestions, not YouTube requirements or guarantees of search ranking.
Use the description to state who the lessons are for, any prerequisites, the intended order, and what learners should be able to understand or do by the end. Make the first lesson easy to identify and keep the title’s promise specific.

Set the lesson order
Add videos in the sequence a learner needs: for example, start with foundations, move to worked examples, and finish with revision or practice. YouTube lets creators choose video arrangement and reorder videos by dragging them. A deliberate sequence is especially useful when learners arrive at an individual lesson and need to know what to watch next.
Choose who can see the playlist

YouTube documents these visibility differences in Change playlist privacy setting – Android. For a public-facing study channel, Public is generally the useful setting if the aim is to help prospective learners discover lessons.

Other ways to create a playlist
From a video’s watch page
- Open a video you want to include.
- Select More > Save > Create new playlist.
- Enter a name, choose privacy, and create the playlist.
In the YouTube app
YouTube’s documented app flow starts from the You tab. Select videos from watch history, then name the playlist and set its privacy. Labels and available controls can vary by app version.
YouTube’s Create and manage playlists – Computer explains these creation options. It also notes a Made for Kids caveat: a video or channel with that audience setting cannot be added to a playlist from the homepage. YouTube Help says creators can still add content from search results.
