Add the built-in Spin Wheel source to a Streamlabs Desktop scene, then customize and save the wheel in your Streamlabs dashboard. You do not need to copy a widget URL or add a browser source for this Desktop setup.
Configure the wheel in the Streamlabs dashboard

Sign in to the Streamlabs dashboard in a browser and open All Widgets.

Find and open Spin Wheel.

Edit the entries or categories the wheel can select. The setup guide lists T-shirts, mousepads, and water bottles as default examples; replace them with options that fit your stream.

Adjust the available appearance and behavior controls as needed. Streamlabs documents section weights, font size, text color, wheel speed, ticker image, and the image displayed in the wheel center. A higher section weight makes a slice larger; a lower weight makes it smaller. The current product page also describes controls for colors, images, spin sound, and ordering. The exact controls can change, so use the live dashboard as the authority for what is currently available.

To preview while editing, select Launch beside the widget URL. When finished, select Save Settings. To reset the widget, select Defaults, then Save Settings.

In the Sources panel, select +, choose Spin Wheel, then select Add Source.

Name the source so you can identify it later, then select Add Source again.

Review any settings shown and select Done. The wheel should appear in the current scene. Add a separate source to each other scene where you want it visible.
Use the right setup for your streaming software
For Streamlabs Desktop, use the built-in Spin Wheel source. The documented Desktop workflow does not require copying the widget URL or adding a browser source. Streamlabs’ guide describes a different route for XSplit and other streaming software: copy the unique widget URL from Spin Wheel settings and add it as a browser source, then set its dimensions and position. Streamlabs also notes an OBS plugin or browser-source option for OBS.

Troubleshoot a wheel that does not appear
Streamlabs’ general widget troubleshooting guidance suggests checking layer order and trying the browser hardware-acceleration setting, followed by restarting the software. These are general widget suggestions, not a Spin Wheel-specific diagnosis.

Check layer order: make sure the source is not hidden behind another layer or covered by an opaque source.

Try the hardware-acceleration setting: if the wheel remains invisible, test the browser hardware-acceleration setting described in Streamlabs’ widget troubleshooting guidance.

Restart Streamlabs Desktop: after checking the source and setting, restart the software and check the scene again.
What section weight does—and does not—mean
Section weight controls relative slice size: a higher weight makes a section larger and a lower weight makes it smaller. The documented behavior does not establish that weights guarantee a particular result or provide a statistical fairness guarantee. If you use the wheel for a giveaway, explain the entries and any weighting to viewers rather than presenting slice size as proof of equal odds.
