To stop Gyre from renewing, sign in and go to Settings > Subscriptions > Active, open the three-dot menu for the subscription, and select Unsubscribe. That is different from stopping the live broadcast. Gyre’s public guidance does not guarantee that every active stream will continue uninterrupted after an ordinary cancellation, so avoid switching plans or deleting your account, then check the subscription date and stream status separately.
Cancel the subscription without stopping the broadcast
- Sign in to Gyre and open the avatar menu.
- Select Settings > Subscriptions > Active.
- Select the subscription you want to cancel.
- Open its three-dot menu and choose Unsubscribe.
- Confirm the subscription status and the paid-through or renewal date displayed in your account. Gyre’s public instructions do not specify the exact dashboard label or the cutoff time that applies to an individual account.
- Separately verify that the YouTube broadcast is still live. Do not choose a different plan or request account deletion if your immediate priority is to avoid renewal while preserving the current broadcast.
Gyre documents stream stoppage in some plan-change and trial-conversion situations, but does not expressly say what happens to every active stream after an ordinary unsubscribe. Treat the broadcast check as essential rather than assuming cancellation guarantees uninterrupted streaming. Gyre pricing FAQ
What cancellation changes—and what it does not
Stopping renewal is not the same as stopping a live broadcast
Gyre’s terms say paid subscriptions renew automatically and advise canceling before the renewal date to avoid the next charge. In the stated no-refund cases—cancellation more than 14 days after payment, or earlier cancellation when the account’s total stream duration exceeds 10 hours—the terms say the service continues until the end of the subscription period. This describes service availability through the paid period; it is not an express guarantee that a particular live broadcast will remain uninterrupted.
Gyre also explains that its YouTube API authorization lets it manage a broadcast through its lifecycle, including stopping it. Its technical guide says a broadcast can end roughly one minute after the encoder stops sending video to the bound stream. That describes what can happen when the encoder stops; it does not establish that unsubscribing itself stops the encoder. Gyre’s YouTube live-stream guide

- Compact but Powerful Design: ZowieBox is smaller than a phone, featuring a tally light and LCD screen for streaming status. Capture console gameplay in up to 4K with zero-lag HDMI passthrough, while the built-in video encoder converts video for IP streaming. The IP stream can also be decoded back to a 4K HDMI signal.
- Standalone Game Streaming: Just plug and play—ZowieBox enables PC-free live gaming without affecting gameplay. As an RTMP hardware encoder and HDMI streamer, it delivers stable streaming directly from your source, making it ideal for gaming, live events, and professional broadcasting.
- NDI|HX3 Converter Technology: ZowieBox converts HDMI signals to NDI|HX3/HX2/HX, functioning as an NDI video encoder, or NDI Video Decoder for flexible IP workflows. Certified NDI technology enables low-latency gameplay streaming through OBS/vMix. Note: Encoder and decoder modes cannot run simultaneously; full NDI signals are not supported.
- UVC to HDMI Conversion: Supporting up to 4K@30fps and 1080p@60fps decoding, ZowieBox enables flexible conversion for webcam and video workflows. As a video decoder and HDMI to IP converter, it expands connectivity options for professional video devices. Note: USB capture card functionality is not currently supported.
- All-around Configuration Options: Control ZowieBox through its web UI on a PC, phone, or tablet. Manage connected PTZ cameras, tally light, video/audio, OSD, work mode, streams, network, and system settings. Support for VISCA over IP encoder workflows enables flexible PTZ control, while the dashboard provides video preview and system status.
Do not use a plan change as a substitute for cancellation
Gyre says selecting a different paid plan closes the free subscription, stops active streams, and provisions a new server. Use the subscription’s Unsubscribe action to end renewal rather than switching plans when continuity is the priority.
Account deletion is a separate action
Deleting the account is not Gyre’s ordinary cancellation route. Its terms say an account with active subscriptions also requires a subscription cancellation request for deletion, and service provision terminates in the specified deletion cases. Do not delete the account to avoid renewal while a broadcast is running. Gyre Terms of Service

Cancellation and refunds are separate
Gyre’s current pricing FAQ says a full refund may be available if you request it within 14 days of payment and the account has streamed less than 10 hours. The FAQ says to cancel and contact customer support. The terms add that refund requests should come from the account email and include the account number and reasons; fees may be deducted. Meeting the FAQ conditions is not the same as merely canceling renewal, so contact support if you are seeking a refund. Gyre pricing FAQ · Gyre Terms of Service
If a refund is unavailable, Gyre says the subscription stays active until the end of its duration. Its FAQ also says a seven-day free trial that is not canceled before it ends automatically upgrades to Start+, and the trial streams stop when the trial closes. If you are on a trial, do not assume its stream will continue after the trial period.
