Choose whether to merge settings or just display the widgets together
A Streamlabs Widget Theme is a profile for alert and widget settings. Merging moves selected widget settings into one destination theme; it does not blend every setting from two complete themes. Separate browser sources let you show widgets from different themes while keeping their original settings.

Merge selected widgets into one theme
- Choose a destination. Open the Streamlabs Widget Themes management page. Create a theme to use as the destination, or select an existing theme as the base.
- Open the source theme’s widget links. Find the theme containing a widget you want, open its theme actions, then open the chain or link panel to reveal the widget share links.
- Copy one widget’s share link. Copy the link for the individual widget you want to move into the destination.
- Open the link in a new browser tab. When Streamlabs presents the available themes, click Use beside the intended destination theme.
- Repeat for each widget. Copy and apply each widget link separately. When you have finished, you can delete unused themes if you no longer need them.
Check the destination before selecting Use. The procedure copies the chosen widget into that theme; it is not a bulk merge of all settings from the source theme.

Show widgets from different themes as separate browser sources
Use this method if you want the widgets visible together but want to preserve their separate theme settings. Copy a share URL for each desired widget, then add each URL as its own browser source in your streaming software. Streamlabs says this works with widgets from inactive themes and can be used for multiple widgets and themes.
In Streamlabs Desktop and the Streamlabs OBS Plugin, the built-in widget-source route uses the active theme. For a widget from an inactive theme, add its URL manually as a browser source. This means the browser-source method gives you more freedom to mix themes, but you will have more individual URLs and sources to manage.

Check theme behavior in Streamlabs Desktop
Streamlabs Desktop can associate widget themes with Scene Collections. When you switch the selected Scene Collection, Desktop can switch to its associated theme. If widgets show unexpected settings after changing collections, check both the active theme and the theme association for that collection.
Use more than one custom widget
Streamlabs’ February 2026 custom-widget guidance says each theme can hold one of each widget type, including one custom widget. To use multiple custom widgets, create additional themes and add each custom widget’s URL as a separate browser source. In Streamlabs Desktop or OBS, set the browser source width and height to fit the widget’s dimensions.
