If your YouTube Live real estate tour stops when its playlist reaches the end, first check whether the broadcast itself ended or only playback on one device stopped. If the incoming feed ends at the tour’s final clip, enable repeat in the media source or playout service feeding your encoder, then test the transition in YouTube Live Control Room. YouTube does not provide one universal loop setting for every encoder.
First find out what stopped
A YouTube live broadcast is the watchable event; the bound stream is the audio-video feed sent to YouTube. That distinction helps separate a source or encoder problem from a viewer playback problem. YouTube’s Live Streaming API documentation describes broadcasts and streams as separate resources.
- Open YouTube Live Control Room and check whether the broadcast is still live and whether its preview is still changing.
- If the broadcast ended or the preview froze as the playlist reached its last item, investigate the media source and encoder.
- If the broadcast and preview continue but one viewer’s device stops playing, troubleshoot that viewer’s playback route separately; do not assume the source playlist ended.
YouTube recommends checking the preview before starting and monitoring stream quality during the broadcast. See Create a YouTube live stream with an encoder.
Make the tour source repeat
If a prerecorded property tour is the media being sent into your encoder, set the video or playlist to repeat in the application or hosted playout service that plays it. The loop control belongs to that source or playout workflow; YouTube’s general encoder instructions do not define a single setting that applies to all software.
#1 Best Overall
- Read Before You Buy — No Video Output: These adapters support charging and USB 2.0 data transfer, but cannot transmit video signals. Except for standard USB webcams (which use USB data only), they are not compatible with HDMI/DisplayPort cables, video-capable USB-C hubs, or docking stations with video output.
- Convert USB-A Ports to USB-C: Designed to connect USB-C earphones, cables, flash drives, card readers, and other USB-C accessories to standard USB-A ports. Plug-and-play with no drivers or software required.
- Aluminum Alloy Housing: Built with a sturdy aluminum alloy shell that aids in heat dissipation and protects against daily wear and scratches. Designed to maintain a stable and secure connection.
- Compact & Travel-Friendly: The ultra-compact design allows the adapter to stay plugged into your device without blocking adjacent ports or adding bulk, reducing wear and tear on your original USB ports.
- 12-Month Warranty: Backed by a 12-month manufacturer warranty for peace of mind. Designed to meet strict quality control standards for reliable everyday performance.
- Identify where the tour playlist is actually played: in your encoder, a separate media player, or a hosted playout service.
- Enable repeat or loop for the media item or playlist in that source. If the application has separate settings for a single item and a playlist, choose the one that repeats the whole tour sequence.
- Confirm that the encoder continues sending audio and video after the final item. YouTube’s encoder guide says, “To end the stream, stop sending content from your encoder.” That makes source exhaustion a plausible explanation when the outgoing feed stops at the end of the playlist, but it does not prove the cause in every setup.
For software-specific menu names, consult the documentation for the encoder or playout service you use; there is no supported universal path without knowing the product.
Test the playlist boundary before relying on it
Do not wait for a scheduled property tour to discover that the loop ends. Run a controlled test, such as an unlisted stream, and observe the complete transition from the last tour video back to the first.

- Check the preview in Live Control Room before starting and confirm the intended tour is arriving.
- Keep Live Control Room open through the end of one playlist cycle. Verify that the preview changes to the first item again and that the broadcast remains live.
- Monitor audio and video around the transition. Look for a frozen preview, silence, a gap, or an encoder status change.
- If the test fails, identify whether the source stopped playback, the encoder stopped sending, or only a viewer lost playback. Fix the layer that actually failed, then repeat the test.
YouTube’s encoder guidance recommends preview checks, test streams, and continued quality monitoring; see its encoder setup instructions.
Check HLS only if your encoder uses HLS ingestion
HLS has media-playlist and media-segment requirements that are separate from a playlist of real-estate tour videos or a viewer’s YouTube playlist. These checks apply to HLS encoder ingestion, not to every streaming protocol.

- Confirm the encoder sends both media playlists and media segments in the expected order.
- HLS sequence numbers must increase monotonically, and updated playlists should be sent for each segment.
- A media playlist should have no more than five outstanding segments.
See YouTube’s HLS ingestion guidance for the protocol-specific requirements.
If you need the stream to run unattended
If your current setup cannot keep the tour source looping without supervision, compare ways to provide continuous playback. Check whether the source can loop, how the system recovers after an interruption, what visibility it provides into stream health, and whether it supports your source format and YouTube destination. YouTube’s encoder guide names software and hosted services as examples; its listing is not an endorsement, so verify the provider’s current features, pricing, reliability, and terms directly. YouTube’s encoder guide is the starting point.

Or let it run in the cloud
StreamNeo is a YouTube-only cloud service for keeping uploaded videos live 24/7. Upload the tour recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. The cloud keeps the stream running without a computer or home connection staying on; the video streams as uploaded, up to 4K 60fps, at one flat price per slot, and StreamNeo automatically recovers if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly is $9.99 per month.

| What you observe | Likely layer to check | Next step |
|---|---|---|
| The broadcast ends as the final tour clip finishes. | Media source or encoder input. | Enable repeat at the source and confirm the encoder continues sending content past the boundary. |
| The broadcast is live, but the Live Control Room preview freezes at the playlist boundary. | Source playback, encoder, or ingestion. | Check whether the source advanced to the first item and whether the encoder is still sending a changing feed; run another controlled test. |
| The preview continues, but one viewer no longer sees playback. | That viewer’s playback route. | Check from another device or viewer before changing the source loop. |
| The stream breaks only when using HLS ingestion. | HLS playlist and segment delivery. | Check sequence numbering, playlist updates, segment order, and outstanding-segment limits against YouTube’s HLS guidance. |
Copyright and property-tour content
A looping setup does not change the rights needed for the material in the tour. Before streaming, make sure you have the rights or permissions required for footage, music, narration, and other included material. Repeating a video does not itself establish that you have permission to use it. Review YouTube’s copyright safety checklist as a practical preflight.
