वीडियो को 720p में बैच कन्वर्ट करने से आपकी फ़ाइलें तैयार होती हैं; इससे YouTube पर 24/7 लाइव प्रसारण अपने आप शुरू नहीं होता। पहले वीडियो फ़ाइलें कन्वर्ट करें, फिर उन्हें लगातार चलाने के लिए लाइव encoder या cloud playout सेवा इस्तेमाल करें। नीचे दिया FFmpeg तरीका स्थानीय MP4 फ़ाइलों के लिए है।
720p बैच कन्वर्ज़न के लिए FFmpeg कमांड
FFmpeg इंस्टॉल करके अपनी source MP4 फ़ाइलों वाली directory खोलें। यह Bash loop हर MP4 को 720 पिक्सेल ऊँचाई पर H.264 वीडियो और AAC ऑडियो के साथ अलग output फ़ाइल में बदलता है:

mkdir -p 720pनाम का output folder बनाता है।scale=-2:720ऊँचाई 720 रखता है और चौड़ाई को aspect ratio के अनुसार समायोजित करता है।libx264H.264 वीडियो बनाता है;yuv420pसामान्य playback compatibility के लिए pixel format तय करता है।-preset mediumऔर-crf 20encoder के शुरुआती विकल्प हैं, गुणवत्ता या गति की गारंटी नहीं।-c:a aac -b:a 128kऑडियो को AAC में 128 kbps पर encode करता है।+faststartMP4 metadata को फ़ाइल की शुरुआत में रखने देता है।- हर output का नाम मूल नाम के अंत में
_720pजोड़कर720pfolder में रखा जाता है।
आउटपुट जाँचें
पहले दो या तीन अलग तरह की फ़ाइलों पर इसे चलाएँ। बनी हुई फ़ाइल खोलकर तस्वीर, आवाज़, aspect ratio और शुरुआत से अंत तक playback जाँचें। यह उदाहरण subtitle streams को output में शामिल नहीं करता। Variable-frame-rate या interlaced वीडियो, rotation metadata, HDR, कई audio tracks और गैर-MP4 inputs में अलग निरीक्षण और settings की जरूरत हो सकती है। स्रोत फ़ाइलों और कंप्यूटर पर परीक्षण के बिना रूपांतरण समय या दृश्य गुणवत्ता का अनुमान नहीं लगाया जा सकता।
Upload फ़ाइल की bitrate और live ingest bitrate अलग हैं
720p में कन्वर्ट करना आपकी स्थानीय फ़ाइलों का चुनाव है; YouTube upload bitrate की अनुशंसाएँ live ingest के लिए बताई गई bitrate से अलग हैं। YouTube की 2026 में देखी गई upload-encoding guidance में 720p SDR के लिए standard frame rate (24/25/30 fps) पर 5 Mbps और high frame rate (48/50/60 fps) पर 7.5 Mbps सुझाए गए हैं। ये सिफारिशें हैं, अनिवार्य upload सीमा नहीं। YouTube upload के लिए MP4, H.264 और AAC-LC/Opus/Eclipsa audio को सुझाए गए विकल्पों में रखता है; source frame rate बनाए रखने और progressive video का भी सुझाव देता है। YouTube की upload encoding recommendations

लाइव प्रसारण में encoder से YouTube तक जाने वाले ingest के लिए, YouTube की 2026 में देखी गई guidance 720p H.264 stream पर 30 या 60 fps के लिए 8 Mbps recommended bitrate बताती है। YouTube CBR encoding, 2 सेकंड का recommended keyframe interval (4 सेकंड से अधिक नहीं) और RTMPS की सिफारिश भी करता है। यह live ingest target है, कन्वर्ट की गई upload फ़ाइल की bitrate recommendation नहीं। YouTube की live encoder settings और bitrate guidance
