You can run Assamese devotional songs as a continuous YouTube broadcast by scheduling an encoder stream in YouTube Live Control Room, feeding it a prepared music program, and monitoring the broadcast. Before you begin, verify your channel, confirm it has no live-streaming restriction from the past 90 days, and clear the rights for every recording and composition you plan to use. A 24/7 setup still depends on the encoder, power and internet connection staying available; YouTube’s published guidance does not promise uninterrupted operation or describe a universal automatic-recovery setup.
1. Check whether your channel can go live
- Your YouTube channel must be verified and must not have had a live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. See YouTube’s live-streaming eligibility requirements.
- YouTube says live streamers must be at least 16 years old.
- If this is your first time streaming from a music channel, YouTube for Artists recommends completing verification at least 24 hours before your planned broadcast. Do not leave verification until stream day.
2. Prepare the songs, visuals and rights
Build a continuous program
Choose the Assamese devotional songs and visual material you intend to broadcast. Arrange the tracks in order, check transitions and listen for abrupt cuts, distortion or unexpectedly loud sections. Prepare a stable visual for the broadcast. YouTube’s encoder guidance supports streaming productions such as concerts, but it does not prescribe a particular looping application, audio level or 24/7 scheduling workflow. Select software or hardware that can repeat your prepared program, and test that behavior before scheduling a long stream.
Clear rights for both the composition and the recording
A song’s devotional subject or Assamese origin does not establish that it is public domain or cleared for your use. Rights may differ between the underlying composition and a particular performance or recording. Confirm that you have permission or another valid basis to use each asset in a live broadcast, rebroadcast and any saved archive.
YouTube scans live streams for third-party content. If its systems detect a match, it may replace the image with a placeholder, interrupt the stream or terminate it. For licensed third-party music, ask the rights owner to allowlist your channel through Content ID: holding a license alone may not prevent a live interruption if the channel is not allowlisted. YouTube for Artists also advises music channels to coordinate with their label or distributor before using copyright-protected music live. 3. Create the YouTube encoder stream
- Open YouTube Studio and go to Create > Go live to enter Live Control Room. Create or schedule a stream and choose the encoder workflow.
- In Live Control Room, obtain the stream destination and stream key shown for that broadcast. YouTube supports encoder-based streaming; an encoder can provide production control such as overlays and hardware integration, but a dedicated hardware encoder is not mandatory.
- Enter the destination and key in your encoder’s YouTube streaming settings. Treat the key like a password: do not publish it, show it onscreen or share it. If it is exposed, replace or reset it in Live Control Room before continuing.
- Configure the encoder’s video and audio to suit your source and connection. YouTube’s official encoder documentation describes stream setup and ingestion, including RTMPS; follow the current settings and compatibility guidance there rather than assuming every encoder uses identical labels: YouTube encoder streaming help and RTMPS ingestion.
4. Test the whole chain before the long broadcast
Run a test using the same encoder, internet connection, songs and visuals you intend to use for the 24/7 stream. Check that the video appears in Live Control Room, the audio is audible and clean, transitions work, and the program keeps looping as intended. Confirm that you can see stream status and copyright notices in Live Control Room. YouTube’s guidance does not supply a universal bitrate, resolution, keyframe setting or recipe for a particular encoder; use the current YouTube recommendations alongside your encoder’s documentation and available upload capacity.
- Test the exact stream key and destination you will use for the scheduled broadcast.
- Listen on another device, not only through the encoder’s meters, to catch silence, clipping or an unintended audio feed.
- Check that the visual remains stable and that the program does not stop when a playlist reaches its end.
- Keep backup power or an alternate internet connection in mind as risk-reduction measures, not guarantees. The cited YouTube materials do not state an uptime guarantee.
5. Start the stream and monitor it
- Start the encoder and confirm that Live Control Room detects the incoming stream.
- Use the scheduled broadcast controls in Live Control Room to begin the public stream when ready.
- Watch stream status and any copyright warnings, and verify the public playback from a separate device or browser.
- Keep access to the encoder and Live Control Room available so you can respond if the connection drops, the program stops or YouTube flags third-party material.
YouTube’s official materials explain encoder streaming and copyright scanning, but they do not provide a complete automatic-recovery procedure covering encoder, power and network failures. Plan how you will notice and respond to an interruption; do not treat a successful test as proof that a stream will remain online indefinitely.

Common problems and what to check
- Live Control Room does not receive video: Confirm the encoder is running and that its destination and stream key match the current YouTube stream. Check the encoder’s own connection status and settings.
- The stream starts but stops when the songs finish: Verify that the playlist or playback source is actually configured to repeat and that it continues outputting to the encoder. Looping behavior depends on your chosen software or hardware, not on a universal YouTube 24/7 setting.
- You see a copyright notice or the broadcast is interrupted: Check the specific matched material. Confirm permission for both composition and recording, the intended live and archive uses, and whether the rights owner must allowlist your channel in Content ID.
- The broadcast loses connection: Check the encoder, power and internet path. YouTube’s published guidance does not establish that a backup connection or power source will guarantee uninterrupted service.
- The stream key may have been exposed: Reset or replace it through Live Control Room and update the encoder before resuming.
