A cloud server can host an encoder that repeatedly sends video to YouTube as a live feed. That is different from letting YouTube save a completed live event as a replay: the first keeps a broadcast running, while the second creates an on-demand video after the broadcast ends. YouTube documents its encoder and archive workflows, but does not prescribe a cloud provider or provide a turnkey continuous-replay setup.
Choose between a live replay channel and an archived event
If viewers need to tune in to an ongoing YouTube Live broadcast, an encoder must send video to YouTube. The encoder can run on a cloud server rather than on a computer in your home or office. This is a technical use of YouTube’s documented encoder workflow, not a cloud-server recipe endorsed by YouTube.
If viewers only need to watch an event after it has ended, you may not need a continuously running channel. YouTube can convert a completed broadcast into a video on the channel, subject to its archive limits and settings.
- Continuous live feed: a running encoder sends video to YouTube, potentially repeating a recording or playlist.
- On-demand event replay: YouTube archives a completed live broadcast so viewers can watch it later.
What a self-managed cloud setup involves
At a high level, the cloud server needs access to the video you want to replay, an encoder configured to send that video to YouTube, and a process that keeps the encoder running and restarts it if it stops. The server replaces the local computer as the place where encoding and transmission happen; it does not remove the need to configure the YouTube broadcast or manage the source content.

- 【AMD Ryzen 7330U】 – The Efficiency-Tuned Powerhouse,AMD Ryzen 7330U (Zen 3, SMT, 4C/8T) in KAMRUI P2 mini PC crushes rivals: Intel i3-10110U (2C/4T, 2019) and N95 (4 efficiency cores, no HT, single-channel memory). Vs predecessor Ryzen 3 4300U (4C/4T): ~50% faster single-core, ~46% multi-core, 8MB L3 cache (vs 4MB). Beats both Intel chips hugely in multi-core, making heavy multitasking, coding, data work smooth at just 15W TDP. High-end power in a cool, efficient box.
- 【AMD Radeon Graphics】– Triple 4K Vision & Fluidity,The integrated Radeon Graphics (based on the modern Vega architecture with 6 CUs) is a visual beast, outclassing the iGPU offerings from both AMD's prior generation and Intel. The Intel UHD Graphics (i3-10110U/N95) struggles with single-channel memory and low execution units, crippling its gaming performance and barely handling basic 4K video without stuttering. While the older Radeon Vega 5 (4300U) was decent, our 7330U's Radeon Graphics (6 CUs) pushes the boundaries, delivering higher graphics clock speeds (up to 1.8GHz) and significantly better rendering capabilities. It can drive triple 4K@60Hz displays with zero lag, edit photos/videos.
- 【Generous Storage & Easy Expansion】The KAMRUI Pinova P2 mini desktop computers comes with 16GB LPDDR4X RAM (higher frequency, lower power) for buttery‑smooth multitasking, and a 256GB M.2 SSD for blazing fast boot‑up, quick file transfers, and no more long loading screens. It also features two storage expansion slots (1x M.2 2280 SATA/NVMe PCIe 3.0 slot + 1x M.2 2280 SATA slot), supporting up to 4TB total (not included). You’ll have all the space you need for projects, media, and important data.
- 【Triple 4K Display Output】The KAMRUI Pinova P2 mini desktop pc is equipped with HDMI 2.0 ×1 + DP 1.4 ×1 + USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑C ×1 (with DP Alt Mode), enabling simultaneous triple 4K@60Hz output. Whether for home entertainment, remote work, or conference room presentations, it delivers an immersive visual experience. Two USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑A ports (up to 10Gbps – 21x faster than USB 2.0) make data transfers and device expansion a breeze.
- 【USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑C: 10Gbps & Versatile Connectivity】The USB 3.2 Gen2 Type‑C port on the KAMRUI P2 small pc supports 10Gbps data transfer speeds and can also output DisplayPort 1.4 video. Together with Gigabit LAN, Wi‑Fi, and Bluetooth, you get a fast, flexible, and productive connected environment – wired or wireless.
YouTube’s documentation explains how to use an encoder’s stream settings, but the available guidance does not specify a cloud provider, operating system, encoder package, server size, bitrate, resolution, or keyframe interval for a continuous replay channel. Those choices depend on the encoder and workload, so there is no evidence-based universal server specification or set of values to copy here. A cloud host’s own policies and capacity also need to be checked before relying on it for a long-running stream.
Configure YouTube and the encoder
- In YouTube’s live-stream setup, create or select the broadcast you intend to use. YouTube’s encoder instructions direct you to copy the stream URL and stream key into the encoder’s stream settings.
- Keep the stream key private. Enter it only in the encoder or service that will send the feed to your YouTube broadcast.
- Configure the encoder to use the intended video source and repeat behavior. The precise controls vary by encoder; YouTube’s general instructions do not prescribe a particular playlist or looping configuration.
- Start the encoder and confirm that YouTube receives the feed before treating the setup as ready for viewers. Keep a way to monitor the cloud process and recover it if the encoder or connection stops.
Plan for continuity and recovery
A cloud server can keep the encoder running when your own computer is off, but cloud hosting by itself is not a guarantee that a stream will never fail. The encoder, server, source files, network path, and YouTube ingest all remain possible failure points. Decide who will notice an interruption and how the encoder will be restarted; do not infer a guaranteed uptime level from the fact that the process runs in the cloud.

When YouTube’s event archive is enough
YouTube says it can automatically archive live streams shorter than 12 hours; streams longer than 12 hours may not be captured. Because the stated guidance is to keep a stream under 12 hours for automatic archiving, a longer event should not be treated as a reliable archive source. YouTube recommends making a local archive as a backup.
If you need the replay available immediately after an event through an API-managed broadcast, YouTube’s Live Streaming API documentation calls for DVR and archive to be enabled, and says recording from the start should be enabled. These settings need to be set before the broadcast goes live: the relevant properties cannot be changed while the broadcast is in testing or live state. The API reference also warns that if recording is enabled but DVR is not, archive availability may be delayed by around one day.

Rights apply to live feeds and archived replays
You need the necessary rights for the content you transmit and retain, including applicable music rights. A recording being available to you, or a video being suitable for a live loop technically, does not establish that you have permission to rebroadcast it. Check the rights for every video and audio track before scheduling a continuous replay or relying on an archived event.
