To stream a Hindi video playlist continuously at 4K and 60 frames per second on YouTube Live, use a playback and encoding setup that can loop your authorized files, output 3840×2160 at 60 fps, and send the feed to YouTube’s Live Control Room. YouTube accepts compatible 4K60 encoder feeds, but the playlist loop, transitions, and recovery behavior depend on the software or hardware you choose.
What you need before starting
- A YouTube channel eligible for live streaming. The channel must be verified, meet YouTube’s age requirement, and have no live-streaming restriction in the previous 90 days. First-time activation can take up to 24 hours.
- A playback and encoder setup capable of playing your Hindi files as a playlist and outputting 3840×2160 progressive video at 60 fps.
- A stable internet connection with sustained upload capacity for the selected codec and bitrate, plus room for normal network variation.
- Permission to use every video and audio track in the playlist, including applicable music rights.
YouTube’s live encoder settings cover supported ingestion protocols and video settings. YouTube does not provide universal playlist-looping instructions: check the current documentation for your chosen player or encoder, especially its behavior at file transitions, on playback errors, and after a restart.
Choose the encoder settings for 4K60
YouTube lists RTMP/RTMPS ingestion, H.264, H.265 (HEVC), or AV1, and frame rates up to 60 fps. Set the output to 2160p/60 and use constant bitrate (CBR). The bitrate is codec-specific, not one universal 4K60 value.

These figures come from YouTube’s current English encoder-settings table as retrieved in 2026; YouTube’s locale pages may show different H.264 recommendations. Check the live settings table for your codec and region before production. Choose a bitrate your actual connection can sustain, then test it on the network you will use for the broadcast.

- Keyframes: Set a 2-second keyframe interval. YouTube recommends 2 seconds and says not to exceed 4 seconds.
- SDR: YouTube lists Rec. 709 and 8-bit.
- HDR: YouTube recommends H.265 and 10-bit; AV1 is not supported for HDR.
- Stereo audio: AAC or MP3 at 44.1 kHz.
- 5.1 audio over RTMP/RTMPS: AAC at 48 kHz.
These are YouTube ingestion recommendations, not a guarantee that every encoder supports every combination. At 4K, YouTube uses normal latency; low latency is unavailable. YouTube transcodes incoming video into multiple formats for viewers.
Set up the continuous playlist broadcast
- Confirm channel eligibility. Check live-streaming access in YouTube Studio well before your intended start. First-time activation may take up to 24 hours.
- Create or schedule an encoder stream. In YouTube Studio, open the Live Control Room and create or schedule a stream using the encoder workflow. Copy the server URL and stream key into your encoder. Treat the key like a password. A custom key can be reused; reset it if it is exposed.
- Prepare the playlist. Load only video and audio you are authorized to broadcast. In your selected playback or encoder software, enable repeat or loop and confirm how it handles transitions, missing files, playback errors, and restarts. Exact controls vary by product, so follow that product’s current instructions rather than assuming a particular playlist procedure.
- Configure output and network. Set 3840×2160 progressive at 60 fps, choose a supported codec, use CBR and a 2-second keyframe interval, and select the codec-specific bitrate above. Check that the available upload bandwidth can sustain the full outgoing bitrate with headroom.
- Test the feed. Use representative video motion and audio. Start sending the encoder feed, inspect the Live Control Room preview, and confirm picture, sound, resolution, frame rate, and stream health before relying on it.
- Start the live event. Start the encoder ahead of the scheduled time. If the scheduled-stream workflow requires it, click Go live in Live Control Room after the preview is ready. YouTube recommends encoder setup at least two hours before an event and starting the encoder at least 15 minutes before the scheduled start.
- Monitor the broadcast. Keep an eye on stream health and retain a local recording backup. For an automatic YouTube archive, end and restart the session before it reaches 12 hours: YouTube says streams under 12 hours can be automatically archived, while streams over 12 hours may not be captured at all. DVR may also be limited or unavailable beyond 12 hours.
The 15-minute and two-hour intervals are YouTube’s event-preparation recommendations, not a guarantee of uninterrupted 24/7 operation. A continuous broadcast still needs a plan for monitoring, power and network interruptions, playback failures, and session restarts.
Protect the playlist’s rights and monetization eligibility
You need all necessary rights for the video and audio, including applicable music licensing rights. YouTube scans live streams for third-party matches and may replace a stream with a placeholder, interrupt it, or terminate it. Even content you have licensed can be interrupted if the rights owner has not allowlisted your channel through Content ID. Resolve permissions and any required allowlisting before going live.

YouTube’s monetization guidance says monetized content should be original and authentic. Its July 15, 2025 clarification renamed the former repetitious-content policy as inauthentic-content guidance and says repetitive or mass-produced material can be ineligible. That does not mean every looped playlist is automatically disallowed, but a minimally varied or mass-produced stream may create monetization risk. Technical ability to stream does not guarantee ad monetization.
Choose a setup that can actually stay live
Compare the options against the demands of a continuous 4K60 broadcast: 2160p60 and codec support, reliable looping and recovery, dependence on local power and network, monitoring and restart options, local archive support, rights workflow, and total cost. YouTube identifies Blackmagic Web Presenter 4K as hardware supporting up to 2160p60 and lists Gyre for continuous streaming at 4K 30/60 FPS. Those listings establish that the products fit the topic; they do not establish current price, availability, or suitability for every workflow.

2. Local software or hardware encoder
A local setup gives you control over playback and encoding, but it depends on the machine, power, software, and internet connection continuing to work. Confirm its current playlist-looping, error recovery, and restart behavior rather than relying on its 4K60 specification alone.
3. Managed continuous-stream service
YouTube lists Gyre for continuous streams at 4K 30/60 FPS. Before choosing any managed service, verify its current technical limits, plan terms, and rights workflow for your own channel and content.

Troubleshoot common problems
- No preview or incoming feed: Check that the encoder uses the server URL and stream key from the correct Live Control Room stream, then confirm the encoder is sending. Reset the key if it may have been exposed.
- Buffering or unstable stream health: Check actual upload capacity under load. Reduce the chosen bitrate to a level the connection can sustain, and test again; YouTube advises matching quality to available upload bandwidth.
- Wrong quality or frame rate: Verify that the encoder output is progressive 3840×2160 at 60 fps, with a supported codec and an appropriate bitrate for that codec. Confirm the Live Control Room preview reports the expected feed.
- Gaps, stops, or failures between playlist files: Inspect the selected player or encoder’s loop, transition, missing-file, and restart settings. YouTube’s ingestion guidance does not define these product-specific controls.
- Stream interrupted by a rights match: Identify the matched content, stop using it unless your rights cover the broadcast, and resolve required licensing or Content ID allowlisting with the rights owner.
- No automatic replay archive: Check the session length. A stream over 12 hours may not be captured, and DVR can be limited or unavailable for sessions longer than 12 hours. Keep a local recording and plan a restart before that threshold if the replay matters.
- Live streaming is unavailable: Check verification, age eligibility, and whether the channel has a live-stream restriction within the previous 90 days. Allow up to 24 hours for first-time activation.
