Crashes, No Sound, or Screen Glitches?
Random freezes, missing sound and display glitches usually trace back to one bad driver. Find and replace yours safely.Free scan · under a minuteWindows Errors? Fix Them Before They Spread
Repair common Windows errors and clear accumulated junk for a smoother, more stable PC - no reinstall needed.Free scan · no reinstallIf your Streamlabs Mobile stream keeps disconnecting on YouTube, first check whether YouTube is actually receiving the broadcast. If YouTube shows nothing while Streamlabs still displays a live timer, try the app’s documented false-live workaround. If YouTube receives the stream but it drops or loses frames, investigate the connection and phone settings. The fixes depend on which symptom you have.
First identify what is disconnecting
Check the YouTube watch page or YouTube Studio while the problem is happening. Is the broadcast shown as live, and can viewers see it? Then check Streamlabs: does it report a drop or error, or does it only keep showing a running timer?
- YouTube receives the broadcast, then it drops or stutters: start with network quality and device settings.
- Streamlabs says live, but YouTube shows no broadcast: follow the false-live steps below before treating this as ordinary packet loss.
- The failure happens when starting or joining a particular event: check the YouTube account and event path, as well as current Streamlabs issue notices.
These cases can look similar from the phone, but they point to different causes. Streamlabs documents the false-live symptom separately from network-related drops.
Fix drops and dropped frames by checking the network
Streamlabs says a stream that drops frames or disconnects may be struggling to communicate over the network. Its Ping Test guide recommends examining latency, packet loss, and jitter. Latency is the round-trip time for data; packet loss means sent data does not return; jitter is variation in the connection. Streamlabs warns that even 1% packet loss can cause a stream to drop. That is support guidance about a possible effect, not a statistic describing how often users disconnect.

- 【Strong Adsorption】The inspiration of the silicone phone suction case comes from the adhesive force of the octopus. Each suction cup phone mount is 3.15 inches long and 2.17 inches wide, with 24 independent suction cups providing a stronger and more stable suction force, so you don't have to worry about your phone falling during use.
- 【Back of Phone Suction Grip】Remove the adhesive film on the phone suction cup and stick it on the phone case. You can then fix the phone on any smooth surface, which is very convenient. (The phone suction cup cannot be removed and reused after being attached to the phone case. It is recommended to attach it to a regular phone case, not a valuable one.)
- 【Widely Used】Our non-slip silicone phone sticky grip mount attaches to almost any flat phone case and make it compatible with common mobile phones such as iPhone and Android. You can shoot, watch videos or video calls in the kitchen, gym, dance studio, bathroom and other places.
- 【Capture the Wonderful Picture】Whether you are a TikTok creator or just like to share videos and photos, this phone suction cup can help you hands-free capture wonderful videos and photos for sharing with friends.
- 【Note】You can fix the phone suction cup on a smooth surface such as a mirror or glass. If necessary, wipe the suction cup with a damp cloth to obtain stronger suction. Before releasing your hand, make sure the phone is firmly fixed. (Not applicable to rough walls, wooden surfaces, and other uneven surfaces)
- Note the time of a dropout and whether you were on Wi-Fi or cellular.
- If the stream is unstable, compare with another available connection or location. Change one thing at a time so you can tell whether the symptom changes.
- If Streamlabs support asks for a continuous ping test, follow its instructions for running and reading one and provide the results to support.
The reviewed Streamlabs guidance does not set universal latency or jitter thresholds that guarantee a stable mobile stream. A different connection may help isolate the problem, but it cannot guarantee that a carrier or network path will remain reliable.
Reduce avoidable phone and settings problems
Streamlabs’ Mobile Live Streaming Guide recommends preparing the phone, closing other open apps, and reviewing streaming settings. In Streamlabs Mobile’s Streaming Settings, check the output resolution, frame rate, and maximum bitrate. The available settings can vary by platform and app version.
- Close other apps before going live, as Streamlabs recommends.
- Record your current video settings before changing them.
- Adjust one setting at a time and observe whether the problem changes.
The guide does not establish one resolution, frame rate, or bitrate that fixes every disconnect. Avoid making several changes at once: if the symptom improves, you will not know which change mattered.

- SUPERIOR COMFORT — Unlike traditional circular ear buds, the design of EarPods is defined by the geometry of the ear. Which makes them more comfortable for more people than any other ear bud–style headphones.
- HIGH-QUALITY AUDIO — The speakers inside EarPods have been engineered to maximize sound output and minimize sound loss, which means you get high-quality audio.
- BUILT-IN REMOTE — EarPods with USB-C plug also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.
- COMPATIBILITY — Works with all devices that have a USB-C port.
- INTEGRATED MICROPHONE — A built-in microphone precisely captures your voice while you’re on the phone, taking a FaceTime call, or summoning Siri — so you’re always heard loud and clear.
If Streamlabs says live but YouTube does not
Streamlabs documents a false-live issue in which its timer, FPS or bitrate display, and Stop control can make the app look live even though the stream is absent from the destination platform. The issue notice links this symptom to Disconnect Protection failing to connect properly to Streamlabs servers.

If that description matches what you see, Streamlabs lists two workarounds:
- In Streamlabs Mobile, open Main Menu → Disconnect Protection and turn the feature off.
- Alternatively, enable Multistream on Streamlabs.com.
Disconnect Protection is intended to show viewers a Be Right Back screen while you reconnect. It does not stabilize a weak mobile connection, and Streamlabs has documented a server-connectivity failure mode associated with it. Use this workaround for the app-claims-live-but-YouTube-does-not symptom, not as a general remedy for every dropped connection. See Streamlabs’ false-live issue notice for details.

Consider Network Boost when mobile coverage varies
Network Boost is Streamlabs’ multi-connection feature for mobile streaming. Streamlabs’ current Network Boost guide requires a primary iOS streaming device, an active Ultra or Ultra+ subscription, and more than one internet connection. Its documented setup uses a relay device to host a hotspot; the primary device streams, while the secondary device may be iOS or Android according to the guide.
This may be relevant if connection quality changes as you move or if you can supply a second connection. A hotspot is one way to provide that connection, not a guarantee against poor coverage, an outage, or problems affecting both links. Verify current device and subscription requirements in Streamlabs’ guide, as feature availability can change.
Do these 3 things before closing this tab:
1Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problems2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errorsCheck YouTube account and event issues
A failure to start a broadcast can resemble a connection failure. Streamlabs’ YouTube-from-phone setup guide says livestreaming must be enabled on the YouTube account before the first attempt; account setup delays can prevent a go-live attempt.

Also check whether you are creating a new broadcast, selecting an active event, or joining a scheduled stream. Streamlabs’ September 3, 2026 YouTube Mobile issue notice marked three go-live problems resolved after updates: duplicate broadcasts after creating a new broadcast, a broadcast that never actually went live, and a vertical-mode RTMP creation error. It advised users still affected to submit a support ticket.
A separate Streamlabs notice, dated September 28, 2026, listed scheduled YouTube streams returning 403 or 500 errors as under investigation at that time. That status can change; check the scheduled-stream issue notice for its current status before assuming the cause is your network.

If your goal is to keep uploaded video playing on YouTube around the clock, rather than stream live from your phone camera, StreamNeo is a separate cloud option: upload a recording or build a playlist, add your YouTube stream key, and go live. Nothing has to stay on at home. It streams your upload at its original quality, up to 4K 60fps, at one price per slot; it can automatically recover if YouTube drops the stream. The first day is free with no card. Monthly is $9.99 per month. StreamNeo plays uploaded videos to YouTube; it does not stream a live camera feed. Start the free day on StreamNeo.
