The announcement describes the newly built, furnished house as more than 3,000 square feet, with three bedrooms and three-and-a-half bathrooms. It was designed to take in lake views from nearly every angle. Outside, the landscaping, pebbled path and two-story dock make the waterfront setting part of the home’s everyday living space.

Natural materials and warm finishes
Interior designer Brian Patrick Flynn used warm earth tones, natural materials, hand-laid stone, custom millwork, classic furnishings and vintage collectibles. The great room has a reclaimed-wood mantel, while a café-door dining room and chef-style kitchen add distinctive architectural details. The kitchen backsplash is described as over-grouted stone; the announcement does not identify its stone type, manufacturer or model. If you want a similar look, search for comparable stone backsplash tile rather than assuming the installed material is available under a particular listing.

Practical details alongside the views
The home includes a morning room, pantry access from the garage and a dedicated pet wash. In the main suite, lake views and a spa-like bath are paired with an all-in-one washer and dryer in the closet. These details make the design more than a scenic showcase: storage, laundry and pet cleanup are worked into the layout.
Flynn said in the December 2025 announcement that he wanted the details to reflect Lake Wylie’s natural beauty while keeping the home warm, inviting and livable. Knotts Builders built the home. The announcement also credited HGTV Home by Sherwin-Williams for the paint palette and Wayfair for furniture, décor and appliances; it does not give exact paint shades or a complete room-by-room product list.
